Sold January 12! Aren’t they pretty?

These baroque faux pearl clip-on earrings belonged to my “honorary aunt”, Auntie Vida, who was a connoisseur of all things pink & purple! Vida was my Aunt Zora’s little sister, who died too young at 103. Until shortly before her death, Vida was living a physically & socially active life, beating youngsters at ping pong, delivering flowers and mail to less-capable residents of her retirement community, and even pushing an occasional wheelchair resident uphill!

Regarding the lampwork glass earrings in my last two posts, I’m over the moon today! They were sold on the 28th, I mailed them same day (I do that whenever possible) and the customer received them just two days later!! That’s 2-day service from Portland, Oregon all the way to Alabama, and they were mailed regular 1st class USPS mail, not Priority! Kudos to USPS!!
