Here's to a great 2024!
We got our photo from Kaytlin Winkels Photography from the Dodge County Canine Club UKC shows. We had such a fantastic time at our last shows of 2023!
Bliss did 18 rally runs in 2/3/Master and Qed in all and placed in most. She earned her URX4 and was High Combined and High Triple Combined in one trial. She was Best of Breed Altered all six shows and got two group Is, a group II, and three group IIIs in the Altered herding group. She also won a Best in Show Altered and a Reserve Best in Show Altered. Friday and Saturday she earned a Total Dog award.
Si did three rally 1 runs and Qed all three and had some placements. He was Best of Breed in five shows and took a Group IV. He earned Total Dog all three days.
Thanks to all our UKC friends for another great year!
Our weekend in WI has come to an end. Today Bliss qualified twice in Rally 2,3, and Master.
Si qualified in Rally 1 and won Best of Breed. He earned a Total Dog award. We’re exhausted but we had a great time. We got an end of weekend pic I’ll be buying from the photographer.
Another fabulous day at the DCCC UKC shows.
Bliss Qed in 2/3/Master in Rally both trials and in one trial was High Combined and High Triple Combined. She also earned her URX4. In conformation she was Best of Breed Altered and Group I and Group II. She went on to Best in Show Altered. She also earned another Total Dog.
Si qualified in Rally 1 with his first perfect score. He was Best of Breed both shows to earn another Total Dog!
A great day at the DCCC UKC Shows!
Bliss qualified in RO2/3/Master both trials of Rally. She was Best of Breed Altered both shows and a Group 1 and Group 3. She went on to Reserve Best in Show Altered and earned a TOTAL DOG.
Si qualified in Rally 1, was Best of Breed both shows and got a Group 4 to earn a TOTAL DOG.
We had a great day playing NASDA! Zen earned her Trailing & Locating Level 1 title and got Qs in Urban Locating Level 2 and Lost Item Level 2. Angel from our A litter and Dawn Fisher earned their Lost Item Level 1 title!
Zen and I had a great weekend in Lancaster, NY with the Upstate Kennel Club. Friday she qualified in pre-novice obedience with a third place and was reserve grand champion. Saturday I judged rally but thanks to our backup judge we Qed in Rally 1 and twice in Rally Masters. She again took two reserve grand champion wins. Today I judged again but she qualified in Rally 1 and in Masters to finish her Rally Master title. Great scores in all runs. She also took two Best of Breeds today to earn a Total Dog award. Super fun weekend!
I’m judging UKC rally today but had a backup judge. Zen got a Q in URO1 today with a 99 and her first two legs in Master with 97 and 96! She did amazing for her first time in Master.
We did CPE Nosework this weekend. Bliss got six Level 2 Qs and only needs two more Qs to finish L2. Si came along and started and finished his Level 1 title CCSS-L1 with even two bonus Qs.
Osiris and me in the staging area today. He went 4/5 in his first CPE Nosework trial!
Happy 5th Birthday to our gorgeous and wonderful Zen!!
It’s a hot day of Nosework. Bliss was amazing. We didn’t get containers or vehicles although we did find one hide in both. However, we Qed in Level 2 exteriors and Level 2 interiors. She’s now in level 3 for interiors! Thanks South Paws K9 Agility and Scent Sport MN!
Bliss earned her CPE Level 1 Scentwork title today with Qs in containers and exteriors! She also got her first leg in level 2 in interiors. Thanks South Paws K9 Agility and Scent Sport MN for a great day and what a fun location!
After a week of the dogs going stir crazy since I was sick, they got to do some dock diving. Si did fine but couldn’t quite get the jumps he needed to finish his next title. Bliss was not feeling it so she too fell a bit short. (Although both had fun!) Zen was the rockstar getting 55 pts towards her junior grand championship. That’s a wrap on dock for the season!
Another great day at the UKC shows!
OSIRIS got Qs in advanced containers and exteriors. He went 4/5 in advanced this weekend and I’m really proud of him.
BLISS got a Superior Q in exteriors so she ended up with two Superior Qs our first time trying it. In rally she did one trial and was High Combined and High Triple Combined. She also finished her RMX3 title.
We had a great day at the Central Wisconsin Kennel Club UKC shows. We did all the things - Nosework, Rally, and Conformation.
BLISS
I didn’t think Bliss was ready for Superior Nosework but she was the only qualifier in interiors today for her first ever superior leg and 1st place. In rally she was entered one trial and was High Combined, High Triple Combined, and HIGH IN TRIAL. She won two Best of Breed Altered also.
OSIRIS
Si surprised me by rocking both his advanced interior searches today giving him a perfect day in Nosework. He also won a Best of Breed and Group IV to earn his eleventh TOTAL DOG award!
Bliss and I competed at Best in the Midwest this weekend. It’s three days of three sports - NASDA (rats and sheds), NADAC (agility), and UKC (dock jumping). Bliss placed second in the competitive regular division. Good girlie!!!!
Si finished his NADAC novice Tunnelers title today!
Precision Coursing photos are here! Thanks Hounds in Motion Photography!
