Hope you like it xo

Congratulations If you are in Copenhagen, please go check out the documentary film, ZUSA. It’s about my graffiti friend who lives in Denmark I’ve met and spent time together. Premier screening is today 10/24 Official Trailer is >> www.vimeo.com/roaddox/zusa
Over the past ten years, ZUSA has taken the throne as the king of street art in Copenhagen. Roskilde Festival has given ZUSA a new challenge. RF has flown in the Japanese street artist AIKO as a sparring partner to design a work of art that neither of them has tried before. ZUSA and AIKO are helped by the 3D architects from Arcana and an army of volunteers who Zusammen will bring the visions to reality. In addition to the creative challenges and a rapidly approaching deadline, ZUSA has been diagnosed with Sclerosis and is confined to a wheelchair 24 hours a day.

Thank you so much everyone xo It’s Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! We want to highlight LADY AIKO!
Japanese-born street artist AIKO (a.k.a. LADY AIKO) began painting in New York City’s Lower East Side in the late 90’s. She was a founding member of the “FAILE” collective working alongside BAST, Banksy, Ben Eine and Shepard Fairey until forging a solo career in 2006. Her iconic hand-cut stencil works of bunnies, sexy butterfly ladies and romantic lovers can be found in cities around the world. Utilizing an eclectic and voracious mashup of Japanese and American pop culture, AIKO’s works draw further inspiration from the streets of N.Y.C., Ukiyo-e (Japanese traditional woodblock printing), Japanese Kawaii (“cute”) culture and globalized depictions of female sexuality.
Recognized in the contemporary art world as among the most important artists to emerge in the new millennium, AIKO is also well respected within the global graffiti and street art scene. She had collaborated with Banksy on the Oscar nominated documentary film, “Exit Through the Gift Shop” in 2005. In 2008, she had a two-person show, “Brick Ladies” with subway art legend, Lady Pink in Brooklyn. As a pioneer in the urban art movement for over two decades, AIKO has created murals around the world—from Shanghai to Dubai to Johannesburg, including a large-scale mural at Miami’s, Wynwood Walls in 2009, 2015 and 2021. In 2012, she was chosen as the first woman to paint the Bowery Wall in New York’s Lower East Side, which originally came to prominence in 1982 by Keith Haring. AIKO has also been commissioned by the former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama and collaborated with high-end fashion brands such as Fendi and Louis Vuitton. Her works have been featured at MOCA L.A., Shanghai MOCA China, the Brooklyn Museum N.Y., Shizuoka Tokaido Hiroshige Museum in Japan as well as other major museums and galleries worldwide.
In 2021, URBAN NATION has proudly commissioned AIKO to paint the museum facade as the first female artist, which is also a collaboration with Martha Cooper to accompany her solo exhibition, “Martha Cooper: Taking Pictures”.
Can you see me? Sending big love to everyone 🖤 📷 xo
Cute little fun for you xo
2019 It was quite memorable group show and I had opportunity to exhibit right next each other. He hanged bunch of puppets and I hanged bunch of ge****ls, we laughed each other because it was so funny and bizarre. Thanks for putting us together and gave us little moment. I don’t know if Roger knew our 20years of crazy friendship history or just coincidence ; we used to be the real mates went through DIY era, like we were standing on Kent Avenue where just outside of the venue selling whatever we could sell to feed us a slice of pizza, crashing art show opening to get free drinks. Anyway this was the last picture of our sweet reunion 📷
Check out massive retrospective “Taking Pictures” exhibition at This is the final week, Martha is having panel talk on Friday 29th. If you are in come through xo
Happy bunny for you xo 📷
