Zombie Western

We wanted to take a moment to address what happened last night at Truelove. Right in the middle of our set, we were asked to make an announcement that a drunk driver had severely damaged some cars in front of the venue. It turns out the cars most severely damaged were mine (Jarrod) and Aaron's car. Three songs into the set, we took a break to realize that our cars were totalled. But our mangled cars weren't the only surprises we'd see last night.

As soon as we stepped off stage, people jumped into action. Good friends, new friends, fans, and people we had never met were offering rides back to Dallas, places to store and transport our gear, places to stay or just kind and heartfelt apologies for something they did not cause. This was overwhelming. After the cars were towed, the least we could do to show our gratitude was to go back on stage and play another song. Again, we were touched by the support.

So to you, the person who offered us the kind gestures, the offers, the kind words, the support, or simply just stuck around until the end of the night, please accept our heartfelt thank you. You are the reason we do what we do, and though it may seem trite, we are motivated to be a better band as a result of the type of people we come into contact at our shows. So thank you. We hope to be back to play a(n) (uninterrupted) show at Truelove soon, and we hope to see you again. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.
