Jim is going full time as Sash Man - Sash Window Repair Specialist repairing and renovating sash windows and Odile is going to run some airbnb rooms at our home as well as continuing with our supper club Secret Passage Supper Club so be sure to follow us. 😀

Using our state of the art dry ageing facilities we dry age all our steak cuts for a longer period and these rump steaks are 80 to 100 days!

This aging allows the meat to relax, the ph drop and the natural enzymes get to work to create a super tender steak that’s full of flavour.

Old Fashioned Milk Loaf is back as our Feature Bread. 🍞🥪

We've created something a little special for our latest Feature Bread, our homemade version of a milk loaf. Made by slow fermenting a white bread dough that has been made completely with milk instead of water.

It's also enriched with a little butter for good measure, all this dairy goodness creates a beautifully soft loaf with a tight crumb structure that has an almost sweet note to it.

That softness and slight sweet note make it perfect for sandwich making and if you ask us it'd be a ham one, with a good splodge of mustard!

Merguez are our Feature Sausage this week! 😍😋

A spicy little chipolata sausage made with a mixture of lamb and beef, the recipe originates from North West Africa, and the South of France.

They are super tasty, seasoned with cumin and harissa and are gluten free, like all of our sausages. ✅️

Great on the barbecue……if the weather is any good?! We like to serve them in a warm pitta bread with some salad, or some of our homemade coleslaw.😉
