The name “Dualidad” or “duality” in Spanish was inspired by the nuances in flavor profiles of Salvadoran rum, which can be achieved when our heavy rums meet different styles of barrels, such as virgin oak, Mayan Ceiba, ex-bourbon, ex-cognac, ex-oloroso and ex-rivesaltes.

That's why we collaborated with talented Salvadoran artist to hand-paint an exclusive barrel, inspired on the Mayan legend of Muwaan Mat 🥃

THE LEYEND 🔥
The Mayan people believed that Muwaan Mat, shared the gift of good luck through crystals. To harness it, they would filter water with quartz in a sacred ritual, and then enjoy drinks in enchanting feasts. 🥃

Following this ancient practice, our Master Blender Gabriela Ayala chose quartz to filter rums from our private collection to craft Cihuatán Suerte, an homage to good luck and prosperity. ✨

Discover Cihuatán Suerte ✨ aged for 15 years in Virgin American oak barrels, with medium charr with tasting notes of cinnamon, salted caramel, artisanal sesame sweets, butter cookies, candied figs and espresso. 🥃✨
