We visited our friends at Gotta Be Frank Gourmet to check out their new spot in Shapleigh. Steak tip sub with chimchurri for me, bacon Bliss burger for Amanda, and Maddie's first ever hot dog. Delicious as always. Congratulations Tom and Margie on your new, busy spot.

We are set up for the weekend. We are trying out a new menu item: Fried Brussel Sprouts! We have Caesar or Maple Bacon. Both are delicious and a nice pairing with some beer. 🍁🍺

We are tonight for Truck or Treat. This is a one night only event so come on down and enjoy some tasty food and treats! 🎃🍁👻

Congratulations to Al and Linda on a well deserved retirement. "Rollin Smoke" is a beast and will continue on somewhere. I'm excited to see where!

And so it has come to be! Our ever faithful trailer "Rollin Smoke, is off to start a new life! Bittersweet for sure. We know her new owners will love her like we did!
Now that the smoke has cleared, it's time to concentrate on the next chapter! Thank you all for nine crazy years!

Our friends at Gotta Be Frank Gourmet with some exciting things happening this fall. Check out the menu for their new brick and mortar.😎

When we decided to open our own little restaurant at 184 Emery Mills Road in Shapleigh, we knew we would have to make menu changes - the kitchen is tiny, with a four foot hood, so we had to get creative. We knew we needed the flattop griddle and the two burner, so fryers were out of the question (we can still use them when we take the food truck out!).

Below is a working draft of the menu - it is pretty close to finished, and we are really excited to have our own house-made sauces including chimichurri, lemon vinaigrette, blueberry chipotle bbq sauce, and cranberry mayo. Creating our own version of Chicagoland Italian Beef is also really cool, and allows us both to celebrate our Italian/Sicilian heritage. Loaded smoked spuds will be a wonderful addition, and we really think you'll enjoy them.

It seems fitting to post this picture of our first job as Fahrenheit 225 mobile barbecue. The Bangor Sam's club customer appreciation day. June 6th, 2015. Under the canopy and using our first smoker. Our Georgia built stick burner! The last 9 years have been a ride for sure!
The decision to make this season our last was a difficult one, and we were looking forward to slingin Q right to the end of the season, but now, unfortunately, a personal situation is forcing us to cut our final season short.
We have a fairly busy schedule in July, including Monday thru Wednesday at Congdons after dark. July 31st being our last day at Congdons. We will be at the Gorham food truck park on the 11th, 18th, and 25th, and the AWS event in Kennebunk on the 27th. Our final event, the Kennebec River brewfest in Augusta will be on August 3rd.
We will spend the rest of this month recognizing those who helped make the past 9 years possible, but for now, to the thousands of people who have stopped and enjoyed our barbecue, thank you!!! It's been our pleasure to "Keep it real"!! Forever grateful.
