You are free. You are not free. If you are a believer in Christ, both of those statements are true of you. In this Sunday’s message, we will see that, although believers in Jesus have been set free from sin and its consequences, we are also slaves of God. That’s one kind of slave we should all want to be!
Blessings,
Pastor David

“Give me liberty, or give me death!” Those famous words, spoken by Patrick Henry in March of 1775, voiced the political sentiment that fueled the American Revolution. His words also express a spiritual reality most people don’t realize: life lived apart from the freedom Christ alone can give is death. In this Sunday’s message, we will see how Jesus frees us from chains that we may not even be aware of.
I look forward to seeing you this Sunday at Crowfield Baptist Church, or having you join us online!
Blessings,
Pastor David

At any moment now every born-again believer will disappear from this Earth! That sounds like something out of Hollywood, but it is the truth. This Sunday at Crowfield Baptist Church I plan to share a message called “What’s Next for Planet Earth?” and the answer to that question is the Rapture. I look forward to exploring with you the thrilling truth about the Rapture that’s revealed in Scripture.
Blessings,
Pastor David

A question believers ask as they watch our world becoming increasingly more ungodly and hostile toward Christianity concerns whether the present abandonment of the faith is the “falling away” predicted in the New Testament. This Sunday we will find answers to that question, and we will present biblical encouragement for God’s people who want to live faithfully for Jesus, despite the downgrade going on in our society.
See you then!
Pastor David

Regrets are something none of us want to have, but many do have. In this Sunday’s message, we will look at the story of Moses’ death, as it is recorded in Deuteronomy 34:1-12. We will use that story as a springboard for considering what the Bible says about avoiding regrets.
I look forward to seeing you at 11 A.M. this Sunday or having you join us by video.
Blessings,
Pastor David Coleman

Everyone loves a mystery, that is, unless it's in the Bible! We are naturally curious, and we want to know all there is to know about everything, but God doesn't reveal it all to us. In this Sunday's message, we will explore why God has kept some things hidden from us, and why that's okay.
See you Sunday!
Blessings,
Pastor David

This Sunday at CBC we will look at God’s requirements for Israel’s kings in Deuteronomy 17:14-20. That passage will also lead us to consider what it means to “seek God’s best,” and whether or not settling for His “second best” is truly biblical.
Blessings,
Pastor David

This Sunday at Crowfield Baptist Church we will be looking at Deuteronomy 6:4-9;11:18-21, in which Moses speaks to the Israelite parents and urges them to raise their children to know the Lord. Parents back then faced some of the same challenges parents face today, so this will be a relevant issue for us to explore.
See you then!
Blessings,
Pastor David
How does God teach us to depend upon Him? Moses told the Israelites that God taught them dependence by putting them through the trials of their 40-year trip through the desert. God also teaches believers today to depend upon Him by bringing problems and challenges into our lives. In this Sunday’s message, based upon Deuteronomy 8:1-5, we will see how God’s School of Dependence produces graduates who rely upon God to meet all of their needs.
Blessings,
Pastor David
