HARARE CLASSIC IS HERE !!

I vividly remember Champion Chienderamwano standing against Vincent Kandiyero, Isaac Chimuchenga, Victor Hungwe, Edward Marondera, Mugove Muhambi among other top athletes at Ochi City in 2013. It was epic.

Harare Classic bodybuilding and fitness championships 2022 edition promise to be, as interesting or better than, the 2013 Ochi City festival.

The question is what is different this time around in terms of Harare Classic compared to last year. Yes, Noah, Gideon and Gearbox fought for the same crown last year. What is making this year event more interesting is that Gideon Teguru is no longer an underdog while Noah is also considered by others as arguably one of the most gifted local bodybuilders in terms of body parts of centre points and piling muscles. Gearbox will always be Gearbox, a top athlete. In short it is a battle of in form hulks who should never sit on their laurels because Lovemore Munyamana and Simbarashe Nyamukondiwa never retired.

The emergency of Team Ladonz is complicating Women Bikini Fitness by each competition. This division will obviously be interesting.

Blessing Itai Sithole is back after a tough Arnold Classic Africa tour. Is he the numero uno of Men's Physique to an extent of easily dominating his division on Sartuday? Anyone who think it's a walk in the park for CC Banks must rethink because Men's Physique is never obvious.

Aaron Musarurwa who is fast becoming George Takundwa of our generation must focus on the long term objectives because the boy is simply talented. He must expect serious competition from Stan Chirenje who to me is simply pure. Anyone who understands purity that give space to longevity in this business must take Chirenje seriously. Personally, I don't care about placings in junior divisions because that may affect the correct vision of these young boys. To me it's all about potential.

Men's Fitness division is yet to mature although some athletes are slowly showing signs of understanding how the individual poses are done in this division. I want to demistfy the notion that a failed Men's Physique athlete should try Men's Fitness. Anyone who lack fitness in its entirety must not compete in Men's Fitness and expect to dominate.
