What a beautiful day Junkapalooza/Harvestfest was🧡🧡 This year the weather and community team effort equaled a perfect day. We LOVED watching everyone enjoy themselves. A huge thank you to Peggy Iba and her organizing efforts. Her love for the community shows. Bill & Kitty Blankenship THANK YOU! You steal the show. I hear kids talking about the horse rides all year long. They talk about it when they are coming through the gate also. Melissa Skillestad your checkout desk help is so appreciated. Thank you Eric Smeltzer for being a phone call away always. LaDonna‘s dancers, thank you for your delicious food and entertaining us. It’s so fun to watch the kids dance!Thank you Keith Clingingsmith for bringing your antique corn grinder. Fayette Miller for entertaining everyone with your butter making skills. Brittany Bauer, people loved the salsa contest! Farmers market, guys are the best!! DCC basketball girls for the apple press, pumpkin picking & your time. Our entertainers on stage were wonderful as well. Our vendors…..this is all possible because of your talents and love for small business. And thank you Glendive & surrounding areas!! For coming out and supporting us. And the businesses for all of the support. We love that different stores open up on Sunday to allow the shoppers to shop around town. Gather your family or friends for a fall photo (Think Thanksgiving or Christmas cards). This truck will be decorated with haybales, pumpkins and fall decor for a photo op at Harvestfest Junkapalooza this Sunday. Dawson County Healthy Communities Coalition will take a selection of photos and later email them to you for a free will donation.
