SUMMER OPPORTUNITY FOR TEACHERS: i2 Camp is a national network of STEM summer day camps for middle school children that has partnered with some of the world’s leading scientific and academic institutions, including MIT, Stanford, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Woods Hole and the American Museum of Natural History, to offer a broad range of hands-on courses. Camp topics include Engineering, Genetics, Robotics, Mathematics, Nanotechnology and Environmental Science. i2 Camp’s 20 locations include New York, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Palo Alto, among others. Each one-week course is taught by three teachers, including an experienced middle or upper school teacher, a graduate student and a “near peer” high school student.
