Waited a long time to do this....................... After having meetings at length over the last 5/6 months getting what we believe to be the correct sponsors, the correct committee and managerial appointments/agreements in place and most importantly getting the players we are looking to get back on board agreeing to come on board with us we can finally say WE ARE COMING BACK!! Keep posted for more updates coming soon 👏🏻

20/05/2017

Biggest game of the season day today. The lads play Callander in a must win game if they are to retain there Stirling & district premiere league title for another year and make it 4 year in a row. Callander travel to Bonnybridge only needing a point from this game for them to secure the league title. We need 6 points from our last two remaining games to retain our title so nothing but a win is needed today. We hope to see as many of the locals down to support the boys as this is our last home game this season with next week being away to Linlithgow rose. It's a 2pm kick off at jennies park so come along and help the lads keep this title in the village for another season. "We all know what is needed" "you only get out what you put in"

"A Few and far between update"
Yesterday saw our east of Scotland run come to a end. Lost out 1-2 to stenhousemuir in the end with David Gordon getting our only goal from the penalty spot. To say I am gutted is a understatement. I thought we did enough to win the game with having the better of the few chances created by either team but not to be on the day. We move onto a massive away game on Saturday at Stirling uni who are the only team to beat the boys in the league so far this season. This is a must win if we have any aspirations of retaining our premier league title for another season

22/08/2014

Well that's the first week of the new season just about over and having played 2 games with dunblane at home on sat and then fallin away on wed. It was two different games and two different performances. After a good start on sat where we beat dunblane 4-0 we travelled to fallin on wed and lost 1-0. It's heads up and onto tomorrow now where we travel to slamannan which for me out of our first 3 games was going to be the toughest with no disrespect to dunblane or fallin. We need to be up for tomorrow guys, get wed out the system and roll the sleeves up and put it right tomorrow.

13/06/2014

Tonight we are holding our player of the year dance at Bonnybridge social club. Tickets are £15 a head for a 3 course meal and the presentation and £5 after 9 o'clock. No one will be getting in any later than 10 o'clock so make sure you are there before 10. Will be a good night so come along and help the football club with funds for next year and also give the social club a bit funding aswell.

10/06/2014

Its a bit of a late post as I haven't had time to update......on Saturday we played our local rivals greenhill in the Bonnybridge charity cup. We won pretty comfortably with a 3-0 win with goals coming from chris limont, chris Lyon and a first Bonnybridge goal for Andy wall. Greenhill put up a good fight but the result never was in doubt . All the best to greenhill and hopefully get some more local Derbys's in the coming season. Well done to both teams and to the people who were brave enough to come along in that weather for a very good cause.

07/06/2014

Today we have a charity match against greenhill. Don't know how friendly this one will be played but it's a derby and you always want to win a derby for bragging rights!! One thing is for sure they will be desperate to beat the stirling & district champions so we must be the same. It's a 2pm kick off so come along as its all for a good cause

01/06/2014

Well...We asked the boys to go out and prove a point to us (management/committee)and most of all to themselves yesterday and that's exactly what they did! Loganlea were the only team to bet us in the league this season up until yesterday and we went and won 7-1 and too say the least 7-1 totally flatters our rivals!! If it had have been 12 or 13 it would have been a better reflection on the game. Its good to wrap the season up with a good victory. Now we go and take this into next season and go do it all again when we can hopefully add more than one trophy to our little village

31/05/2014

Last game of the season today at home to loganlea and it's the day of the league trophy presentation for us. We still want to win this game as we have played 21 games in the league this year and lost only 1 too none other than.....loganlea!! Lets go out and put that right today guys. Kick off is 2:30 so should be getting presented with the trophy around 4:15 and then it's PARTY TIME. Come along and give the guys your support and a good send off for the season then up to the royal hotel for the party. Big crowd expected

22/05/2014

Well last night we were crowned champions with a 3-2 win up at California with goals from dave McKay and 2 from chris Lyon. Not as comftable as we would have liked and could have been out of sight in the first half but we got there in the end. Well done everybody for there hard work through the season from the players right through to the fans. We will be getting presented with the league trophy down the park on the 31st of may which is our last league game against loganlea. Come along and support the boys and then back to the royal hotel for a few light refreshments lol I hope everybody's head is ok this morning and we all made work!!

21/05/2014

Well today is the day we have all been waiting for. The day we can finally/hopefully go and win the league. The sun is shining for us all. Big squad and big crowd expected for tonight's game. For them that don't know it's away to California at the park in shieldhill. Lets make sure we are all up for it tonight guys. Lets apply the same attitude tonight as we have done all season....in the league!! Lets go and bring the Stirling & district premiere league title to Bonnybridge. It's all down to you's guys

18/05/2014

Another good result for us yesterday with a 2-0 win away to braehead with the goals coming from Steven mochrie and chris Lyon. 1 more win lads and we are there and we will have exactly what we deserve. The league doesn't lie and 1 defeat in 18 games is exactly why we are where we are so lets go into Wednesday and get the result we need and bring this league title to Bonnybridge

16/05/2014

We are away to braehead tomorrow with 6 points from our last 3 games needed to win the league. We need everybody there and giving 110% or we we will get nothing from the game. All the hard work from everybody through the season will mean nothing if we dont go and get the 2 results wee need in our next 2 games. Braehead is one of the hardest if not the hardest places to go and get a result. We must go into tomorrow's game with the right attitude and REMEMBER we have won nothing yet lads!!! This game is a MUST win for us so come on let's go and get the result.
2pm kick off tomorrow for anyone who wants to come along and give the guys your support

Saturday brings a massive game for us in the league at home to stenny it's a must win for us.its good to get a home game after 5 away games so come along and cheer the boys on for what should be a cracker

10/04/2014

Saturdays game was at home to slamannan in the league. The game started a bit end to end but after 20 minutes slamannan won a penalty and scored to make it 0-1. Within 5 minutes we were to level with a through ball from Ali mcvicar too Steven mochrie who went 1 on 1 with the goalie and made no mistake to make it 1-1. 10 minutes later and slamannan were back infront to make it 1-2. 5 minutes before half time a good direct run from chris Lyon from just inside his own half and he slipped the ball through to grant Scobbie who on his own rebound put passed the floored slamannan goalie to take it 2-2 at half time.
5 minutes in the second half came the turning point when ali mcvicar was shown a straight red card for a blatant block. Within 10 minutes of us being down to 10 men we found ourselves 2-4 down. This seemed to rally the boys who weren't going to give up without a fight and started to take the game to slamannan. We had a good few chances with none taking until 7 or 8 minutes before time we got the goal that had been coming with all our pressing when a mick warnock cross to the back post was brought down by chris Lyon who rolled it to grant Scobbie who scored his second from 8 yards. We started very quick from kick off and again started to press looking for an equaliser. With 3 minutes to go we got that deserved equaliser when a quick free kick from Andrew wall put mark Campbell through 1 on 1 and he made sure it was a share of the points
Last night 9/4/14 we were away to stenny and only a point seperated us and them in 2nd. We started brightly without making to many clear cut chances. 20 minutes in and from a corner stenny were ahead with Ali mcvicar turning into his own net,to be fair there isn't much he could have done about it. Things were even for the rest of the half with both teams pushing for goals. 2nd half started and again things were pretty even for the first 15. With half an hour to go we started to get going and getting a foot hold on the game, getting the ball down and playing a bit. With 10 to go we got a well deserved equaliser when Brian grant found himself unmarked in the box and with the aid of a deflection made it 1-1. Last 10 minutes both teams were trying to nick it but with no clear cut chances the game fizzled out at 1-1. On a whole it wasn't a bad point to get away from home.
We are away to barrhill on Saturday in the league. 3 points is a must to keep us top and pushing to win this league

09/04/2014

Massive game the night lads away to stenny, winner is top of the league and has the slight upper hand in the run in to win the league.1 point separates us in 1st and stenny in 2nd.i can't emphasise how big a game this is so let's all be up for it and give 100% and lets hope that's enough.
Report for Saturday and tonight's game will be updated later in the week

04/04/2014

We are at home tomorrow against slamannan in the league.every league game is a must win but this even more so as this is one of the teams who will be up there hopefully along with ourselves fighting for the league at the end of the season so this would be a massive 3 points.game is suppose to be at Duncan Stewart or Anderson park 2pm ko.lets hope the rain stays away to get this game

23/03/2014

After last weeks shocker we were back to league duties yesterday and knew nothing but a win was a must to put us back top of the league.we started the game well when just after 10 minutes we took the lead,a great run from mark Campbell was found by an equally as good pass by chris Lyon and Campbell went round the goalie to slot home.the second came 5 minutes later when a long mark Campbell throw was flicked on by Steven mochrie and chris Lyon was there to finish it off.the 3rd came just shortly after when a good ball into the box by Ali mcvicar was headed over the on rushing goal keeper by grant Scobbie.the fourth came 10 minutes before half time when a great delivery from Colin sneddon was met by mark Campbell who poked it over the line to take us in 4 up at h/t.the 2nd half started a little slow from us but after 15 minutes grant Scobbie found himself unmarked in the box and slipped it into the corner sending the goalie the wrong way and getting his second of the day.we started to rally again and 10 minutes later chris Lamont did well down the left and laid the ball back to chris Lyon who made no mistake for his second of the game.steven mochrie was next up for a goal when he did excellently to close down play and nipped in and stole the ball then ran 25 yards and from a tight angle curled it home.with 5 too go a good run from chris Lyon to latch onto a superb ball from grant Scobbie and Lyon went through and slotted passed the keeper for his hat-trick and that finished the scoring at 8-0 and a very pleasing day all round.next week we are away to Stirling uni on league business again so it's another must win game

15/03/2014

We are away today against mls Leeds and are playing at st ambrose high in coatbridge.its 4G and a 3pm kick off today is the 1/4 finals of the mathieson trophy, this is the trophy we lost in the final to Falkirk amatuer's 3 years ago so lets go all the way and win it this year.cmon the brig

07/03/2014

We are suppose to be at home to another east of Scotland semi finalist team tomorrow in slamannan.from what i hear the parks weren't looking to great today but fingers crossed for a dry night from now till ko and hopefully a wee bit work can get it playable.2pm ko at either Jenny's park or Anderson park hope to see you's all there

02/03/2014

We were back to league business yesterday after the disappointment of last week and we welcomed east of Scotland semi finalists braehead.without a goalkeeper we welcomed back and out of retirement colin morris(burger).we started well and pressured the braehead goal and with 15 minutes played we took the lead when Steven mochrie got on the end of a mark Campbell throw in and he flicked on and as the ball was going in/or was in when mick grant headered we really ain't sure who the goal is actually going to yet(half a goal each I think)!! Braehead came back into the game and with 10 left of the first half were awarded a penalty which they scored to make the game level at half time.2nd half started pretty even with us probably creating more chances and with 20 played of the 2nd half we regained the lead when Steven mochrie won yet another header and zack nicoletti got to the 2nd ball first and he chested to chris Lyon who fired a half volley past the rooted goal keeper!!braehead pushed for an equaliser without much affect,if I'm being honest if anyone was going to score again it was going to be us and with 5 to go mark Campbell played a through ball to chris Lyon who got into the braehead box and slipped chris limont in who slotted past the goalie to give us a vital and well deserved 3 points.home to slammanan next week and it's another must win game

01/03/2014

We are now at home to braehead today and not away.its 2pm kick off come along and suppose the boys on there push for the league

21/02/2014

How we sit after yesterday's games, but we must remember nothing is won in February and still teams with games in hand and lots if big games to come.we can only take it one game at a time

16/02/2014

Yesterday's game was played at Anderson park after good work from the committee got the game on.
We took on 3rd place barrhill which we knew was a must win to give ourselves more breathing space from them and others below.we had a great start when a mick grant shot was excellently guided into the net by a chris Lyon header just 10 minutes in.10 minutes later a great through pass from David miller put zack nicoletti 1 on 1 with the goalie and he made no mistake to put us 2 up.15 minutes later barrhill were reduced to 10 men when the barrhill man received a second yellow card which in all fairness probably should have been a straight red but none the less was still sent for an early shower.from the resulting free kick we went 3 up when William Robertson's shot/cross missed everyone and ended up in the net (he will say it was a shot but the jury is still out on this one) lol playing against 10 we really should have went on and punished them but it wasn't the case as we took our foot of the gas the second half and aloud them back into it with a penalty with 20 too go.we could have and probably should have put the game out of site with a couple of good late chances but never did so!!none the less was a very good 3 points again for us.all the best to barrhill for the rest of the season.we are away to Callander next week in the cup, this is the team that put us out the scottish cup this year so we must be up for it and make sure they don't put us out another cup!!

Bonnybridge are at home to barrhill today in the league.bonnybridge sitting second and there opponents sitting 3rd makes it a critical 3 points for both teams.after beating league leaders carronshore last week we hope to continue this week with another win.game at Anderson park 2pm ko,hope to see you's there

09/02/2014

Bonnybridge 4 carronshore 2

After the game being called off at 11:15 yesterday due to the under 19s game being abandoned at 11 carronshore challenged it and the match referee deemed the pitch to be playable!!
After 15 minutes carronshore were awarded a soft penalty but none the less the penalty was scored there for we found ourselves 1-0 down.5 minutes later we were level through a header from chris Lyon.5 minutes later carronshore were reduced to ten men after a blatant last man foul on chris Lyon resulted on the carronshore man being sent off!! We never made the man advantage count and found ourselves 1-2 down going in at half time.we re-grouped and had most off the play in the second half but couldn't find the break through until the 67th minute through a mark Campbell goal.10 minutes later some good fighting from Steven mochrie winning two headers in a row in the carronshore box and his second was well finished.5 minutes to go the game was put out of site after a carronshore corner broke to chris Lyon and he played a long through ball to Zak nicoletti who made no mistake to slot home and put the game out of site.great 3 points for us but all the best to a very good carronshore team who never gave up
