"...thanks be to God who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ...and through us spreads
Thank you all for the opportunity to share God's word and encouragement! He's shifted my teaching onto another trajectory. I'm no longer traveling to share with women's groups. I'm happy to be involved in the glorious work He's given me close to home. Thank you again. All the best to you and yours.
For all you winter-weary—take heart, spring is coming. 🌸

As temperatures climb here in the Heartland, how refreshing this scene is. To stand and let the spray of breaking waves cool and refresh us. But, what about when it's your soul that's wilting?
And we need refreshment that goes more than skin deep?
I Will Protect You Tears streamed down, but not from sadness. Not really. It’s just that she too had been broken, like this alabaster jar. And now like this broken vessel she was pouring out all she held. All s…

God shines His light in our hearts so we may know true strength and beauty in this mystery:
Christ in us, the hope of glory!
So love this--to get a text and prayer to cover me with peace.
That's what I'm going to share, happening real time.
✨Look forward to spending the morning with this beautiful group of women. ✨💛✨
We are so excited to have Mari back to speak with us again! Join us this Friday as she shares how to have a life that is different for all the right reasons.
Sharing with moms in Galesburg tomorrow morning (10/21)
about our unspoken fears: of how just maybe we aren't enough as moms, maybe we'll ruin these little people in our care even though we desperately want to get this so right.
Love the beautiful message God has in store for us all.
Look forward to seeing Him breathe peace into women's hearts.
Father God, Let us be women who refresh...
"One person gives freely, yet gains even more;
another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.
A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed."
—Proverbs 11:24, 25
Life is emerging lush and green all around.
And as the earth is clothed with a bit of His glory,
I'm reminded that out of the desolate and sorrowful places
He drew me near and clothed me with joy.
"O Lord my God, I will give You thanks forever."
My word for the year:
Listen. Still my words, turn focus from self and clear a place for Jesus to reside. Listen, giving others a place to speak their hearts, share their stories and discover purpose. I desire to listen well.
Thank you, God, for stepping fully into our messiness and restoring us through Your unbroken love.
for all the forgetful, messy people out there - Jennifer Dukes Lee It was a busy afternoon. I was distracted and overwhelmed, as many of us are during the holidays. But I urgently needed to buy some laundry detergent — unless our family was willing to show up at church the next day in pajamas. So I rushed to the grocery store with that single item on my list.
Every once in a while a girl's got to send herself a card like this. Are you with me?
If you know a teacher, be extra sweet and kind to her this evening.
She, I can guarantee, had one wild and crazy day today.
"Praise the Lord...who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion...
Praise the Lord, O my soul."
—from Psalm 103
This one is sweet with truth.
the five friends we all need - #TellHisStory - Jennifer Dukes Lee I've been thinking a lot about friendship lately, and what it means to be a good one. Maybe it's because I have been watching as my daughters figure out how to navigate the ever-changing landscape of teen and pr***en friendships. Maybe it's because I went through a recent bout of l

Question for you: What verse(s) has God given you that calms you and gives you strength when fear stirs up havoc in your heart?
Let's pour out our hearts to Him,
right here, right now.
He is our refuge, the lifter of our cares.
"My salvation and my honor
depend on God;
He is my mighty rock,
my refuge.
Trust in Him at all times, O people;
Pour out your hearts to Him,
For God is our refuge."
Psalm 62:7, 8
In this time, the devastation and desperation in the lives of people around us and nations far away grieves us. Though we feel utterly overwhelmed with it all, let's not despair.
Let us not be paralyzed by the vast needs and hide out in lesser things.
We desire to be people moved by God into the need, yet we hesitate because we simply don't know where to start.
Do not throw your hope away.
Pray.
Listen.
Yield.
Repeat.
We know—truly become intimately engaged with—liberating and life-changing truth when put it on, zip it up and walk in it.
Just had a Beth Moore "Glory!" moment. ✨🙆✨ All I can say to you is "Girlfriend, get thee in the Word right now!" {in my best Texas BM accent}
"Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him. You come to the help of those who gladly do right, who remember Your ways." --Isaiah 64:4-5a
