Dorking Guerrilla Knitters
Naughty knitters have a laugh in Dorking!
Hey lovely Dorking People! The Dorking Guerrilla Knitters are planning a poppy installation for Armistice Day 11th November, to celebrate ALL people who have given their lives for their countries. We would like to invite you to make poppies in red, purple (animals) and white (remembrance for all victims of war, both military and civilian) with black centres and to attach them during the week before. You might like to embroider a date or a name on yours. Links to patterns below ππ

What a feat of engineering! We reckon it took around 150 hours to make this for the c**k.
Forgot all about posting here! It's been a weird year....had some other stuff to do! We're hoping to get together soon to meet and plot; it's not nearly so much fun sewing up on my own π Here are some Christmas offerings ππ

A bit of Naughty Knitting going on around town lately!
I've had this request (ages ago, sorry!)
Anyone got some spare time on their hands....????
Hello I live in Westhumble and I am starting a new project as I want to give back something after the death of my mum. I am working with Princess Alice Hospice in Esher to create gift boxes for patients in the hospice. The idea of the boxes is to provide gifts they may need or that could bring snippets of joy.
I know you make wonderful things and I wondering if you would be interested in knitting bits (as a one off or regularly) to donate as I need fairly large numbers. Things we put in the boxes include small plant pots with seeds to grow, notepads and pen, cards to write to loved ones, sweets, toiletries, puzzles, colouring books, socks but I thought perhaps knitted gifts could be nice (flexible what) that they could use or brightened up their day. Or possily knitted bags to put their gifts in? Please let me know if you'd be interested
Thanks
Message me Clare Davies and I'll pass it all on xx
