EDIT: We apologize profusely! Our scheduled post for Casey on June 15 never made it to our page and FB never notified us of the failure. 🤦🏻♀️ It was just discovered today, a month late. If you are on Instagram, it appeared there, right on time. As for Facebook, better late than never!
CAST SPOTLIGHT! Casey will be in 8th grade this fall. He was a featured soloist in Bobcat Beats and sings with the choir at school, as well as plays in the band. He has extensive theater experience dating back to 2018 where he was an ensemble member in "Dorothy in Wonderland", "Broadway Beats", "Princess Whatshername" "The Snow White Musicpalooza" and "Alice in Wonderland". Since moving to Estes, he has had the role of Pugsley in the EPHS production of "The Addams Family" and "Raise Your Voice" at Estes Park Middle School. This is his second production with the guild. You will probably recognize him from his role last year as Prince Eric in "The Little Mermaid Jr.". He's playing two totally different characters this year in addition to being in the ensemble. We're sure lucky to have such a versatile cast member on our team!
His favorite line from the show is: "Pulitzer's poodles"
Tonight's the night! Will you be there? The Blues Dogs always draw a big crowd, so come early, bring your own seating (food and drinks optional!) and be ready to have an evening of great music on us!

TECH SPOTLIGHT! This is Lily's second year doing tech for us. Her favorite thing she's worked on this year is the stone New York arch. This year, she most likely be getting some chops on the light board! She'll be going into 8th grade this fall as is also a member of the band.
TECH SPOTLIGHT! Stella is another seasoned tech person, this being her third show with the Guild. She'll be running a follow spot again this year. Her favorite part of the set that she's helped with is the stone wall (the colors are this are just phenomenal and realistic!), and the bridge. We hope the walls help transport you to the city streets of Manhatten the moment you set foot in the auditorium!
TECH SPOTLIGHT! Vivian's first year doing tech is going great so far! She too loves the bridge the most. You'll also have to see if you can spot her moving set pieces around disguised as a Newsie!
TECH SPOTLIGHT! Paige has worked tech for us for several years now and this is her third show. It's great to have a seasoned tech person on our crew! She'll be running one of our follow spots again this year. Even if every year's set has very different skillset demands. Paige's favorite part of tech this year has been building the bridge. We can tell you, EVERYONE loves when they get the direction to be on the bridge! Paige is also a member of the Color Guard/Winter Guard at the High School and has been in choir since middle school. She was on stage for last fall's production of "Chicago" in the Dance Troupe and a Reporter and this last winter's "The Play That Goes Wrong".
TECH SPOTLIGHT! This is Quinn's first year working tech for the Guild, but we have a feeling she'll become a regular! Her favorite part of the set that she has helped with is the flooring for the bridge - an incredibly important part that has become a cast favorite! She'll also be disguised as a Newsie to help move set pieces in between scenes. Quinn is going into 8th grade this fall and is also a member of the choir and band.
TECH SPOTLIGHT! Sophia is in her second year doing tech for the Guild. She's going into 8th grade where is is a member of the choir and band. We love that she is back and taking on many new tasks with a smile! You'll have to watch for her covertly, and not so covertly changing sets blending in as a fellow Newsie. Her favorite contribution this year is learning how to use the jigsaw to cut out the skyline of New York. We know it will be a favorite part of the set for many!
TECH SPOTLIGHT! This is Will's first year doing tech with us and we absolutely love having him on our team! He's got great attention to detail and is eager to learn anything necessary to get the job done. His favorite thing to have built is the stairs that provide a pack entrance onto the bridge on both sides of the set. We love that versatility, too!
