I cannot believe seven years have gone by without our sweet girl! This year to celebrate Faith’s birthday and the many lives she is impacting through Faith45, we are doing a giveaway!!

The dahlia cart is going out tonight! I don’t often set it up during the week so thought I would for any of you who can never make it on the weekends! I am continuing to raise money for a 33 year old battling breast cancer who recently started chemo treatment. I will keep it out and stocked till 9 p.m.

Stop by jb and me today to help out a great cause!

Thanks to all of you who stopped by the flower cart over the last week 🌸 We raised $235 to donate to so we can take care of someone’s pets medical bills, we will be dropping the donation off this week and leaving it up to the staff to choose someone in need 🐾💗

2 p.m. the flower cart will be out at 260 Dartmouth Ave. Don’t let a little rain stop you from some beautiful blooms and be a part of helping someone out at the same time 🐾

As always flowers are free, but any donation will go back to helping someone in our community in need or to simply brighten someone’s day and let them know they are loved (because that’s important too 🤍)

We were so happy to be able to help out our friends at yesterday when they were in a huge need for puppy food since they just took in 8 little pups! Of course we had to add some food and treats for the other doggos at the shelter too… because we couldn’t leave them out! This is a snapshot of how your donations to our flower carts in the summer help and go to great needs in the area!

Thanks to everyone who came out to jb and me yesterday during our flower cart! We were collecting donations for a first year - third grade teacher who was in need of items for her classroom. We are happy to announce we collected a big bag of supplies from donations along with raising $251 that will go towards checking more of those needed items off her list!

This weeks flower cart at jb and me (36 west 8th st) will be giving back to a deserving first year teacher who is starting her new job as a 3rd grade teacher! She is in need of the following supplies for her classroom so feel free to drop some off today while you grab a bouquet of dahlias! No time to pick up a donation- no worries, we will use all of today’s donation money to purchase her supplies needed too!

Thanks to everyone who swung by jb and me to pick up flower bouquet’s yesterday! We collected $136.39 in donations money for 🐾 We will have one more flower cart in the near future to finish our fundraiser for them… stay tuned!

Our flower cart will be at jb and me tomorrow (Thursday) at 10 a.m. until the bouquets have all been picked up. We will be raising money through the donations given for the bouquets to 🐾 The rescue also has a chewy.com wish list that lists items that they are currently in need of and items that they can always use. If you aren’t local it would mean the world to us if you’d send a donation item there way (you can ship it directly to the rescue- check out our Instagram stories for more details or we can send you the link!)
This rescue is amazing- they pour their heart and soul into helping the animals in their care find the best homes and care for them so well until they find the perfect match. They are a local organization here in Holland, MI

Brought a fun donation to today! The rescue pups will now be stylin’ thanks to a very talented seamstress ❤️

The flower cart is out today! We will be collecting donations today in honor and remembrance of 9/11 and treating our local fire department on Waverly st to a supply of drinks and snacks that they can enjoy while on duty at the station. We hope you can swing by!

Meet Jairus... see these awesome wooden trees? He built them! Want to know why? He built these trees in order to sell them, to earn money so he would be able to buy other children Christmas gifts this year. How incredibly cool is that? He was one of our helpers this season at Yeah, it’s a Handout to help bless a local family with gifts this year to brighten their Holiday. We couldn’t resist sharing with you all!

This Christmas season, along with holidays in years past, we at Yeah, it's a Handout! are encouraged to make even a few local families' Christmas morning shine a little brighter through acts of kindness and love. This year has been tough for so many community members, but for the ones nominated and brought to our attention they’ve had to endure more than the most of us. We hope to not only bless these families with gifts they otherwise might not have but also take a little off their plate and provide some warm meals for them to enjoy as a family. We keep it local in our community, so when you donate your gift will bless someone in need right here in the heart of West Michigan.

So many blooms heading to jb and me from us to hand out on Saturday morning! Come visit and grab a bouquet! We love to give out our fresh flowers for free to brighten your day or so you can brighten someone else’s! Donations are always kindly welcomed if you choose to do so. The donation money from our most recent cart went to purchasing numerous cases of ensure for a local south side gentleman who is battling Esophageal cancer. It is the only form of food he is able to have for every meal and was very thankful when we stocked his cupboard full of the shakes. Thanks to you for swinging by the flower carts, it allows us to do stuff like this to help others and let them know they are loved.

This evening we had a donation of comforters and sheets to drop off to Building Men for Life in Holland from the donation money we brought in from one of our recent flower carts- so thank you to all who swung by and helped with that! If you swung by jb and me this week and made a donation to you helped treat all 16 men tonight to a big pizza dinner... so thank you, thank you! We like being able to help with both the essentials and non-essentials... but pizza is kind of considered an essential on the weekend right?😉

Spreading a little cheer today at jb and me ( ) Swing by this morning and pick up a bouquet of Dahlias for yourself or to brighten someone elses day! They are free as always, but if you decide to leave a donation it will go back to helping out people in our community! ❤️

Do you have an organization or person in mind that you would like to see our next flower cart donations go to/towards? Our last cart raised over $300 for Building Men for Life and after talking with them found out that they are always in need of twin sheets, pillows and twin comforters because every newcomer receives all three of these items when they arrive at the Building Men for Life facility and they get to keep these items once they move out. With the additional donations we plan on getting some yummy treats for the men and bringing them a delivered dinner one evening. We love to be able to share how your donations are going to great causes and people around the community! Here’s a look at some of the bouquets from this week!
