Hi hello, I didn't realize I was still getting a bit of messages every month for the last year about dreads lol but no i'm sadly still closed y'all. I still have all my hair and supplies cause there's totally a chance of me making more in the future somehow but I have no idea when honestlyyy
I'm pretty often at nearly full time or even overtime at my "part time" ~regular job~ and honestly have no energy for even my other soap business I actually do wanna work on ;-; (Spookii Bubbles)

PS they come in little mesh organza bags, which have like 3 purposes - it's cute packaging, but also mostly there for holding the bar crumbles at the end, when it inevitably gets really thin and breaks; so you can use the whole bar up! (just rub the bagged chunks on your scalp like normal) AND with the ties on the bag, you could also hang it off a shower caddy hook to keep dry, if you have that.
Like all bar soap etc, it's definitely best to keep as dry as possible, not sitting in water, to keep it hard and lasting the longest.
I probably do the most cause I have a wide-slotted soap holder on command-strips on the whole opposite wall of the shower head lmao but I totally get probably not everyone is that extra about it

warning, long post cause I like to get all info out there but tldr; I want some more people to test my shampoo bars on natural dreads pls!

SO I'm starting to make shampoo bars; these were some testers sent to some of my friends, they've passed the test on loose hair of all different types and I sent to 1 friend with natural dreads and she likes it too BUT I'd like more tests on natural dreads with these :3
I can get 5-6 tester sized bars (I think this time i'll just do all thinner bars, not cut any in half like this haha) out of a small batch so I can take that many testers!!
I will say I spent a bit on materials and stuff already so I am asking for shipping and some material cost ? like $6 if shipped in the US ♥
Now second thing is deciding on a scent everyone would be cool with haha, I have many options but to narrow it down the options are incense/oud wood or maybe something fruity, like lemon/fruit loops?
Also can be uncolored or another color of course~

Third and very important, these are *shampoo*, surfactant bars, not real soap like most other dread shampoos which are not meant for hair honestly. I make soap too, and the pH is about 9, these bars are about 5.5 which is just right for hair, so really gets them clean!
(which, they can also totally be used as a body wash too if you wanted lol)

Now fourth and also very important, the ingredients in case you're allergic to anything! (or just wanna know whats in em, cause why not)

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI), BTMS 25, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa), Coconut Oil, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cetyl Alcohol, Fragrance, Hydrolyzed Oat Protein, Panthenol, Preservative, Colorant

And, in general, I am about to make some in all different scents for sale in my shop soon/this week since they're definitely approved for non-dreaded hair! They're gonna retail for $10 :3

Wew lad, finally made some of my first shampoo bars (and almost 2 weeks later got some organza bags for em - which is mostly for when they get thin and inevitably break so you can use all of it!) and these are samples going out to some friends with different hair types to see how this goes~ the recipe is supposed to be good for *all* hair types so we'll see 👀
These are just vanilla scented to be pretty neutral for everyone sampling lol. And they're vegan just like my other products have been + they're sulfate freeee, which I feel like they're taking out as much of my semi perm purple/pink dye as my other preferred sulfate free liquid shampoo!

so also I guess its usually weird to talk about how much money you make BUT LIKE. my 2 best years of selling dreads, I made about $4k a year. Just 4 thousand dollars a whole year
(which is mostly cause I couldn't make them faster, cause y'all know i'm way more on the "expensive" end. but I obviously couldn't go faster, with keeping the same quality, and my motivation certainly went down with the work to pay ratio lol)

and then with my regular part time job, i should get around $11k this year (would be slightly more if not for corona lol) - WHICH is still technically barely anything, but compared to before i'm like "o wow look at all this money" lmaoo

Try an ACV/baking soda soak to cleanse your dreads, without the vinegar stonk and instead some nice cherry/pumpkin/orange etc scent!

I have 1 maraschino cherry and 1 sweet pumpkin available right now; I plan on making some fir/birch fire scented ones soon and maybe some more pumpkin; they only take a couple days to dry out so I can make them pretty custom!

So I know I make synthetic dreads, but these are really for natural dreads~
This is much like the baking soda and ACV soak people do to deep cleanse their dreads, but there's citric acid instead which replaces vinegar + doesn't smell like anything!
They also include some sweet almond oil for adding some moisture to the hair, (which might be best for more mature locks) and of course the fragrance - there is also some polysorbate 80 which is just an emulsifier, so the water and oil mixes! And that's it.

How to use: recommended that you only use it about 2-3 times a year; this is a deep cleanse to use every now and then along with regular washing. (I'll hopefully be making shampoo bars sorta soon)
Add a whole bomb for long hair, or half (if you can break it in half; sometimes they dry super hard) for short hair - to a basin/sink with hot/warm water and soak your locks for 15-20 mins, agitating a couple times, then rinse or wash with your favorite shampoo after and let dry fully like normal ^_^

You'll probably wanna lay down on the floor with a basin while they soak for most comfort, or maybe if you have the room you can lay on a counter with your hair in the sink haha

Ingredients: baking soda, citric acid, sweet almond oil, polysorbate 80, fragrance.
Do not use if you have any allergy of course~
