Recruitment for Shulin Junior High School
Today, we introduced the FRC team to ninth-grade students at Shulin Junior High School. Through a video presentation, we explained what "FRC" is and detailed our team's operations and roles. Our team members also showcased the robot's structure and demonstrated its functions. We hope this outreach will pique the students' interest in FRC and encourage them to join our team.

今天向樹林國中九年級生介紹了FRC團隊，首先我們先與他們先利用影片介紹讓國中部學弟妹們了解什麼是「FRC」，接著介紹我們團隊如何運作以及各組分工。除了這些，我們還請我們的隊員介紹了機器人的結構，並透過實際操作機器人展示了機器的功能和性能。希望這次的推廣能讓國九生對FRC產生興趣，並加入我們這個大家庭。

Recording at National Education Radio
Today, we were honored to be invited to an educational radio station. We discussed our preparations and experiences at the Australian Regional and World Championships. It was our first radio interview, and we appreciated the relaxed atmosphere created by the host, which helped ease our nerves. It was a special and memorable experience, and we hope for more opportunities to share about FRC in the future!

New Taipei Science Day
Today, we set up a booth at Zhongshan Junior High School, and everyone enthusiastically joined our activities and learned about our robots. Many enjoyed our Spy Battle mini-game, with some even achieving a high score of 371. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone‘s participation and for listening to our robot presentations! We hope our sharing will spark more interest in robots among junior high students and encourage them to join us in the future!

非常開心今天有新的成員加入，我們在簡單的互相自我介紹後，開始學習如何組裝底盤，並在過程中逐漸熟練工具的使用。在這之後，為了更認識彼此，我們玩了＂竹筍竹筍蹦蹦出＂經過激烈的回合後，大家更熟悉了!接著我們也介紹了團隊目前的計畫以及各項專案，並邀請新進的隊員一同加入，希望未來大家都能合作愉快!

We are very pleased that the Compassion FRC Team 10034 made a special visit from Yilan to our school, which was a delightful surprise for us as a rookie team! Although our first-year experience is still limited, we hope that our experience can be of some help. We wish them all the best in successfully establishing the Lanyang Regional FRC Alliance, fueled by their passion for robotics!

Thank you to HORNGYU ELECTRIC for inviting us to the Keelung coast for a beach cleanup activity. It‘s our way of showing love for the Earth. During the process, we realized how difficult it is for the trash we produce to decompose. We urge everyone to reduce the use of disposable products.

Additionally, we are participating in Project Pangea, which is composed of teams from many countries. We hope that through the efforts of our FRC teams, we can ensure sustainability around the globe .

Interacting at the Pit

At the World Championship, there were many teams from different countries, kids competing in FLL and FTC in the same venue, and many visitors of all ages. At our booth, we actively and enthusiastically introduced where we are from and answered their questions.

At the venue, our mascot, Luke, took pictures with everyone while holding antlers, attracting people to our booth. Many visitors also came over to read our business plan and ask questions about our robot, giving our team more exposure.

On the second day of the competition, we were pleasantly surprised when the Taiwanese ambassador to Houston visited our booth to encourage us and take a group photo.

On the last day, as we were packing up our tools to head to the stands, FRC Team 27 Rush came to our booth and presented us with a handmade award, encouraging us as a rookie team to keep striving. We are very grateful for their recognition and hope to meet them again at the World Championship in Houston next year!

在世界賽的現場，有許多來自不同國家的隊伍以及在同個會場比FLL、FTC的孩子們，甚至會場還有許多參觀的大小朋友。而我們在攤位上積極且熱情的介紹我們來自哪裡並解答他們的疑問。
在現場，我們的吉祥物,Luke,拿著鹿角和大家拍照，吸引大家來到我們的攤位前；除此之外，也有許多人過來閱讀我們的Business plan和詢問我們機器人的問題，這也讓我們的團隊有了更多的曝光。
在比賽的第二天，驚喜的台灣駐休士頓大使蒞臨我們現場鼓勵我們讓我們受寵若驚，並跟我們合影留念。
在最後一天，我們正在收拾工具前往看台時，FRC27 Rush來到我們的攤位前，頒給我們他們自製作的獎牌，鼓勵身為新手隊的我們可以繼續努力下去。非常感謝他們給予我們的肯定，希望在明年我們可以再一次前往休士頓世界賽遇到他們！

We introduced our team to the judges and shared the journey we‘ve been through since the founding of our team. This includes the experiences we’ve gained through outreach activities, the spirit of gracious professionalism we‘ve experienced during competitions, and the challenges and learning involved in robot fabrication. We are delighted that the judges recognized and appreciated the efforts and hard work of each team member, giving us more motivation to continue pursuing our dreams and striving forward.

Robot Learning
In this FRC FIRST Championship in Houston, we’ve observed the robots designed by veteran teams and realized there are many areas for improvement in our own robot. For instance, learning from the mechanisms in other teams‘ designs could make our designs smoother, and organizing our electrical system better could streamline maintenance. The biggest takeaway from this championship is being able to seek inspiration from many veteran teams, and we hope that on our future journey, our team can design even more perfect robots.

在這次FRC FIRST Championship 休士頓世界賽中，我們看到前輩隊伍們設計的機器人，也意識到我們機器人有許多可以精進的地方，像是設計機構時，在吸取note的設計可以更順利；配電上應該要整理得更完善、乾淨，幫助在檢修上可以更有效率。這次在世界賽最大的收穫就是我們可以向許多前輩隊伍請教來尋求更多的設計靈感，希望在未來的路上，我們團隊可以設計出更加完美的機器人。

We are extremely grateful for the assistance of FRC5414. After we arrived in Houston, they allowed us to use their facilities and equipment to assemble our robot. Additionally, they took us on a tour of their workshop, introducing us to their recent activities, such as translating posters into other languages, producing quarterly records, and promoting FRC. They also shared their annual team goals and outlined specific projects to achieve them. We were honored to be invited to write our team name on their guest team check-in board. This exchange brought us significant gains and learning experiences, and we will carry their valuable insights forward as goals for our team‘s future endeavors.

非常感謝FRC5414的幫忙，在我們來到休士頓後，讓我們借用他們的場地及器具來組裝我們的機器人；同時，帶我們參觀他們的工作室，介紹他們近年來在做的事，像是：嘗試將海報翻成其他國語言、製作季刊紀錄與推廣FRC；以及他們寫下每一年團隊要達成的目標，列出具體項目來實踐。

團隊目前的營運與遇到的困境：

樹林高中FRC9427校隊於2023年9月成立，隊伍隸屬新北市FRC聯盟。六個月以來，團隊積極向前輩隊伍請教，也與國外來自北美洲、南美洲、大洋洲的隊伍交流；因FRC注重STEAM教育推廣以及在社區中發揮自身影響力，團隊在校慶擺攤、參與2023Taipei Maker Faire向民眾介紹FRC；與贊助商合作舉辦國、中小STEAM教育手作坊。同時，團隊也經營社群媒體提升曝光度，目前已超過400支帳號追蹤，追蹤者來自世界各國也橫跨各年齡層。
．
團隊宗旨為成為一個隨時做好準備、善良謙虛負責有禮貌、會幫助別人以及感恩的人，因此我們也參與了科技女力論壇、世界糧食日的倡議、華山基金會的樹林獨居老人關懷活動，希望能在我們身處的環境中發揮我們小小的影響力!

而在機器人技術能力上，學生運用課後放學、假日時間進行CAD繪圖、CNC加工、JAVA程式語言的學習，並在2024一月公布題目後，五周的時間設計、討論、製作原型測試，撰寫自動控制與手動模式的程式，分工合作製作出競賽的機器人。

2024FRC澳洲區域賽 Southern Cross Regional

FRC9427團隊參與澳洲區賽獲得全明星新秀獎Rookie All-Star且以第一外卡資格晉級休士頓世界賽！

我們非常感謝這次澳洲之旅能夠和成功高中7497一起到新南威爾斯大學(UNSW)與當地資深隊伍4729進行交流，也非常榮幸在聯盟賽時獲得7433、6508的邀請成為盟友！

另外，我們的攤位布置、團隊介紹幸運地獲得評審團的青睞，甚至將工程筆記、商業計畫書帶回評審團討論，在第三天總決賽時也再次來到攤位詢問更多團隊的細節，在比賽的最後我們獲得了全明星新秀獎Rookie All Star、甚至還超乎我們預期的以第一外卡資格晉級休士頓世界賽！
