The Keys to Sweat-Proofing Your Office Clothes
J.Hilburn detail - we think of everything! We have worked with our Portuguese factory to revive a rarely used and all but forgotten construction technique to keep a sport/suit coat as cool in the armpits as possible!
The new sweat patch is now a small crescent of lining in the armpit area. It is an old construction technique to make it separate from the chest piece so that it moves independently and dries more quickly. It is also replaceable – so if a sweat patch becomes odorous, a good tailor can remove the old one and construct and install a new sweat patch. Finally, to make the patch even more robust, we actually put inside a small piece of cotton to absorb excess moisture.
