It's been a busy few months for us, travelling six hours out to the bees in the Annuello Flora & Fauna Reserve and back with honey every week.

The Mallee eucalypts; White Mallee, Giant Angular Mallee and just now, the Christmas Mallee have all produced an excellent bud set and plentiful pollen and nectar for the bees to forage.

As our name suggests, we specialise in RAW honey. Our RAW honey is cold extracted and cold bottled for maximum retention of natural goodness and flavour. RAW honey will naturally crystallise at a fairly rapid rate. Depending on the variety, some will set to a smooth creamy texture within weeks while others may take a few months.

We believe for honey to be truly RAW it should be extracted and bottled at ambient temperature, not adding any heat in the processing at all. This is what our customers expect and so this is what we offer. Cold Extracted, Cold Bottled RAW honey, naturally.

Starting this Saturday the Abbotsford Farmers Market will be operating weekly from 8am until 1pm!

This year also marks 20 years since the market began. We've got a great selection of producers attending this week and in the coming weeks you'll see some producers who have been with us since the beginning as well as some new faces. 🙂

After much consultation we have made the unfortunate decision to CANCEL the Violet Town Community Market this Saturday 14th of August as it has been deemed too big a risk.
We look forward to welcoming you all back in September.
