Kick off weekend is approaching fast!

Kickoff weekend with be a 2 day event this day.
Saturday, August 24th from 9:00-11:00 at St. Leo's - ages U6-U10 will play shortened games.
Attractions include:
Bounce house, shoot outs, basket raffles (cash only), and concessions availabe by the Knights of Columbus.
Sunday, August 25th from 1:00-4:30pm at Musselman High Soccer complex - ages U12-U15 will play shortened games.
Attractions include:
Dunk tank featuring some of your favorite coaches (Coach Amber, Coach John, Coach Chandler, and Coach Chase), shoot outs, basket raffles (cash only), and concessions available through Musselman Soccer.

We will be unveiling our new South Berkeley Soccer logo and you will have a chance to order your spirit wear!

Raffle tickets a $5.00 a piece or 5 tickets for $20.00
They will be sold at both events, with the winner being pulled on Sunday at 4:30 (do not have to be present to win).

Today is draft day at the Musselman High School Soccer field.

There is NO DRAFT for U6 or U8.

We do encourage EVERYONE who can to come out at some point during the draft today to try on uniforms for more precise sizing as we are using a new and local business for uniforms this season.

Good morning! We have made it through 4 days of camp and we hope your kids have loved it! Tonight is our last night and we plan to have tons of fun!! Hotdogs and chips will be provided for camp participants.

Tonight we are offering a FREE 30 minute session (5pm-5:30pm) for any children ages 2-5. Cleats and shin guards are encouraged, but not required.

Our fall draft will take place on Sunday, August 4th at the Musselman High School Soccer field for the following age divisions:
U10: 1:00
U12: 2:30
U15: 4:00

Age divisions U6 and U8 are not drafted.

If your child is unable to attend draft, they will be placed on a team randomly.

For anyone going to camp tonight to get to the high school field they are doing construction in front of the  Rec center so here's two different ways to go Coming 11 South - Turn left on Mussleman Drive. Take next right and immediate left to drive around the back of the school. Pass the tennis courts, and the entrance to the Musselman Soccer Complex is straight ahead.

Coming 11 North - Turn right into Appleland Park (right before Tudors). Drive straight and turn left before the Hitting Complex building. The entrance to the Soccer Complex is straight ahead on the right.

Soccer Camp starts TONIGHT! Tonight’s theme is Musselman Monday, so be sure to wear your Musselman attire or your green!

If you have not signed up but would like to attend, we are doing in person registration for camp each night and you can pay with cash or check.

Also, we are monitoring the weather. Our goal is to have a complete week of camp. Of course field conditions and extreme weather will change our plans and we will be sure to update everyone if any night needs to be canceled.

Summer Camp Information:⚽️⚽️⚽️

Camp is held at the Musselman High School soccer field located behind the Randy Smith Rec Center (40 Excellence Way, Inwood WV 25428). If you are not familiar with the area, you will pull into the Randy Smith Rec Center parking lot and in the distance you will see some school buses parked in a small parking lot as well as stadium lights, this is the area in which the soccer field is located.

Camp is held Monday, July 22nd to Friday, July 26th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm for the age groups of U10, U12, and U14/15.
For age group U8 camp is Monday, July 22nd to Friday, July 26th from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
There will be a free camp held on Friday, July 26th for children ages 2-5 from 5:00-5:30. This is a great opportunity to get children familiar with soccer.

If a child cannot attend all week, we have added an option for a "partial week" registration. This will need to be done in person, daily. The cost per day to attend is 14.00 and must either be exact change (as we will not be carrying change) or check.

This year's camp has a daily theme for the first couple of days and we encourage each camper to participate to enhance their camp experience.

Musselman Monday - campers are encouraged to wear anything Musselman or Green/White/Red.
Team-Wear Tuesday - campers are encouraged to wear their favorite jersey (this could be high school, college, pro, or even a previous season's jersey).
Wacky Wednesday - have fun creating the strangest or most comfortable outfit you can come up with! Mismatch, different patterns, holiday wear - anything goes!
Thursday will be tournament day.
Friday Field Day.

We hope that your child is as excited for camp as we are! We have many Musselman High School soccer players assisting with camp. It's sure to be a great time for everyone!

If you have time this morning, please go out and support the girls high school soccer team and eat some wonderful pancakes

Registration for summer camp is still open!
We will also be allowing children to register for partial days. If you choose this option, you will have to register the child in person each day they attend. You will pay each day they attend, 14.00.

This is a great opportunity for a child who is unsure about committing for a season of soccer.
