Nothing holds back our FNE Timberwolves!
The FNE Explorers enjoyed their incredible experience as they explored the world around them through a small aircraft flight! The mix of excitement and a bit of fear was completely understandable when embarking on such an adventure. Seeing houses and cars shrink in size as you gained altitude was fascinating.
Explorers soon learned the importance of making gentle inputs to control the aircraft and understanding the importance of smooth movements was both challenging and rewarding. The bumpy landing for some added to the thrill of the experience!
Exploring Oshawa Executive Airport and learning about flight rules and airport operations added richness to their visit and adventure. It's great that the volunteer pilots took the time to explain everything to our Explorers patiently. This experience sparked the curiosity and admiration of all the participating explorers.
Overall, it was a perfect sunny day to explore the world of flight and discover the possibilities within aviation careers. FNE encourages our Explorers to embrace curiosity, and who knows where it might lead them to a future career?
Boys ages 12 to 16, come and join our Eagle Explorer Troop. Only three openings are available. Please feel free to contact us to learn more.
