Sunday special - Luchi (Poori) & Mutton Kasha (Gravy)
Weekends are lazy and its all about making yourselves comfortable. My soul craves for a special food menu which is warm and cozy, that does not involve too much of prep.
Spend the day being lazy in the sofa watching TV or sitting in the couch with a book. My favourite is but chatting away with my partner in crime with food and beverages.
Pan roasted chicken wings with Salad and Zucchini Purée for the occasion called "Weekend"!
Arbi Tikka in town today!
What’s up foodies? I guess you might be wondering this unique amalgamation of Arabian and Delhi culinary concepts , which I assure you is not what it is. Arbi is an oft used Hindi word for Colocasia. It is mostly found in tropical countries and has some great health benefits along with yummilicious taste when cooked right. So what wait lets dig deep then :

Chilli Soya with Chilli Garlic Noodles. It is more like the comfort food for Chinese cuisine lovers. Less ingredients, less preparation time and satisfying for the Chinese tooth. Soya is a ingredient that has mixed love from everyone. Few love it and few just don't like it's bland taste. The first is me and second is few of my family members. So I always try new ways to keep soya recipes interesting and flavorful. This gives me a chance to convince them at times to give Soya a try. It's a excellent source of protein content too! Give this a try Foodies!

Ajwain Achaari Namkeen... After the sweet boondi, my husband demanded something crispy & salty. So I came up with this Namkeen with a twist. How can it be that I come with something new and don't share it with my food buddies!

Misti Bonde / Mitha Boondi (Sweet Boondi) for small festive occasions. Easy to prepare, minimum ingredients and very less time taken. Boondi k laddu can also be prepared using this the Sugar Syrup quantity has to be increased so that it binds the laddoo. You can also prepare Khara Boondi with this by using spicy masalas and salt instead of sugar syrup. With Varalakshmi Puja and begining of festival season around the corner, this is a must do.

It has been a busy weekend.. It has been raining entire day today and every thing is running on a slower pace. Rainy evenings give us cravings for crispy and savoury food. So I thought to keep it simple with the classic Ragi Dosa..

Bengali Fried Rice is a default in the menu card of any Bengali wedding. It is relished with Kosha Mangso (Bengali Mutton Gravy) and salad. For this Sunday, I thought of preparing this special and authentic lunch for ourselves. It's is very nostalgic for any Bengali staying out of the state.
Recipe is shared in comments.. I have mentioned the amount for 2 people approx. You can multiply to prepare for as many people as you want.
Muli ka Paratha.. We shifted house last week and I am trying to keep our menu simple and interesting.. I got some fresh Radish with the greens yesterday and thought of preparing simple fry and having with rice. However, changed my mind, as both me & my husband weren't willing to have rice at night. I also got 1/2kg each of Ragi+Jowar+Bajra Atta made from a nearby mill from whole grains. Mixed it with approx 2 kgs of whole wheat atta to make Multigrain atta at home.
To make use of both the radish + multigrain atta, thought of preparing Muli ka Paratha.
