On July 26th, 2024 visiting New Zealand Police Senior Constable Brendan was taken on a tour of the Los Angeles County Sheriff Twin Towers Correctional facility in downtown L.A., the LAPD Academy in Elysian Park (with lunch at their restaurant), and of L.A. Dodgers baseball stadium, courtesy of IPA Region 6. On July 29th, Brendan participated in a patrol ride-a-long with L.A. County Sheriff Temple City station. In addition, Brendan was graciously invited to spend the entire duration of his time here in L.A. in the residence of a Region 6 member, who also took him shooting at a Burbank shooting range.😎 Brendan is currently assigned as a senior constable/tactical instructor to the Dunedin (South Island) Frontline Safety program.
The New Zealand Police / Ngā Pirihimana o Aotearoa in Māori:, is the national police service and principal law enforcement agency of New Zealand, responsible for preventing crime, enhancing public safety, bringing offenders to justice, and maintaining public order. On August 6, 2024, after their long trans-Pacific flight, visiting New Zealand Police Constable Alex and his wife Kylie were welcomed to L.A. by the Region 6 reception officer with a lunch at the In In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Westchester overlooking the north runway complex of LAX.
On August 9, 2024, Alex and Kylie were hosted by Los Angeles County Sheriff Captain Glenn Walsh, in charge of the LASD Narcotics Bureau, at his office in Whittier, courtesy of Region 6. Alex received a briefing on the tasks of the bureau from Captain Walsh and they discussed current trends. Alex is currently assigned as a detective to the NZ Police National Organized Crime Group.

On August 18, 2024, IPA Region 6 hosted visiting German Police Officer Marco and his wife Katrin at a Meet & Greet at the Yard House sports-bar in Burbank. Two days later on August 20, Marco received a tour of the Beverly Hills Police Department, courtesy of Region 6.
Marco is a Polizeihauptkommissar (PHK) / Chief Inspector II with the Bayerische Staatliche Polizei / Bavaria State Police, located in the southeast of Germany, bordering Austria, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. The Bavaria State Police is one of 16 state law enforcement agencies in the Federal Republic of Germany which are subordinate to their respective Land (State) Minister of the Interior. The Bavaria State Police has approximately 33,500 armed officers and roughly 8,500 other civilian employees, and is divided into 10 regional police authorities.
