Caring for a loved one with dementia? Millennium’s Dr. Bruce Lipschutz discusses with Fox4 the emotional toll it can take on caregivers who tend to a spouse with dementia.
He states, “They feel guilty about doing anything for themselves. And it should be about themselves too, because they become a better caregiver”.
Caring for a spouse or family member full-time can put a lot of stress and anxiety on a person. Remember to check in on your family members who are caregivers and encourage self-care. ‘Do not eat’ Kellogg's Honey Smacks cereal, CDC warns after 30 more people become sick
There is a new update in the CDC’s recall of Kellogg’s Honey Smacks cereal. The cereal is now being pulled from all shelves at local retailers. Take serious precautions and throw out any Honey Smacks cereal in your home. Please share this with your family and friends.
“On Tuesday, the CDC told retailers not to sell any Kellogg’s Honey Smacks cereal and customers not to buy or eat it. This update follows a CDC advisory in July, when the health agency also told people not to eat the cereal.”

All locations and hours will stay the same, apart from the Fort Myers EZ Care Clinic which has now merged with Millennium’s Walk-in Medical Center to provide you with better access and hours. The Metro IMA EZ Care Clinic at 13813 Metro Pkwy, will now be open 7 a.m – 7 p.m. during the week and on weekends from 8 a.m. – Noon.
