Spring time in Kentucky brings heavy rain storms and often getting caught playing in them leads to a call for Dad to come to the rescue! Which I am always happy to play the hero role!

“Eastern Gray Squirrel” - New Drawing for the M.O.K.H. series. Which way do you feel!? Are squirrels cute? Or a they just fluffy rats (like on of my uncles told me)? 😀
Kentucky (like most of the Midwest) have an abundance of squirrels, I find them fun to watch. And if they are good enough for Bob Ross, they are good enough for me! (He had one as a pet named Peapod)
“Whooping Crane” New drawing for the M.O.K.H (My Old Kentucky Home) Art Series.
Did you know that the Whooping Crane is one of only two cranes native to North America and is on the endangered species list! It’s migration takes it through Kentucky and is a beautiful site to see!
Haven’t been able to paint much…but I thought I’d share three pieces that are rotating on the easel at the moment. “Bluegrass Sound”, “A Glass Half Full Kind of Bourbon”, and “English Saddle”. The next few weeks are intense but hopefully find some time to paint on these for the M.O.K.H series (My Old Kentucky Home)
