CASA is offering walk-in advising for spring 2024 schedule questions for first-year and new transfer students today from 9am-4pm and tomorrow from 9am-11am and 2pm-4pm.

Welcome Back Orediggers! Today is the first day of classes! Keep in mind that you have until January 16th to add a class to your schedule and until January 24th to drop a class from your schedule.

Friday, November 17th is the last day to withdraw from individual courses for the semester.

If you are a first-year student or a continuing student who switched to the 2023-2024 catalog, CSM202 is required. It will be offered starting in spring 2024.

Today is the last day to drop a class from your schedule for a 100% tuition refund. To drop a class follow: Trailhead - find Student Services card - click on "Student Registration" - click on "Register for Classes" - select Fall 2023 and click Continue - in the Summary on the bottom right, find the dropdown next to the class you are dropping and select "Drop on Web" - Click "Submit" at the bottom

Join the Mechanical Engineering Department for the very first Mechanical Monday session of the Fall semester on Monday at 11:00 AM in BB W280. Our featured speaker will be Kaiden Hales from HDR Engineering. There will be pizza, chips and sodas for all mechanical engineering students who stay for the talk.

Mechanical Mondays is a session of speakers from industry that will talk about their experience working as a mechanical engineer in industry, and how their career path led them to where they are today. Most speakers are alumni, some are friends of Mines, and ALL are interested in connecting with you.

Dr. Pérez-Vélez previously served as an Associate Director of CASA, and most recently as the interim Director of CASA since January. If you see her in Aspen Hall or around campus, be sure to congratulate her on the new role!
