The finals are played tomorrow from 18:10, and the last one is finished at 20:20.

400 tons of sand has arrived at the City Hall Square, and is being turned into a beach handball court at this very moment.

A couple of heads up for all our players:

- All players have to register at our information stand next to the beach handball court at least 30 minutes before your first match. Your team captain has to register if you want to use any unregistered player for the match.

- You are not allowed to bring any drinks (alcoholic or non-alcohol) into the park. For your lunch, you will get a free bottle of water, plus there will be access to a water source inside the park for free refill.

- We urge all players to join the EuroPride parade on Saturday, and to join behind Raballder HK’s banner. We urge everyone to join in their beach handball shirts / uniforms.

- All teams will play in the finals on Friday between 18:10 and 20:20. We therefore ask everyone to urge friends, fans and families to come watch this part of the tournament in particular.

- The trophy will be given by the president of the Norwegian Handball Federation, Karl-Arne Johannessen, at the big parade show from the Main Stage on Saturday at 15:00. We want the entire winning teams in all three classes to go on stage to receive the trophies.

Today it is one week left until the first ever LGBT Beach Handball Tournament kicks off during EuroPride in Oslo.

A total of 12 teams will take part, and we expect well over 50.000 visitors to get a glimpse of the matches during the two days of competition. Join us at the City Hall Square in Oslo!

Today, all teams have been informed about their match schedule for the EuroPride Beach Handball Tournament 2014.

If you want to watch the tournament, here is the short version of the schedule:

Thursday 26th of June
15:30: Group Matches start (new match start every 20 minutes)
19:50: Last match of the day finishes

Friday 27th of June
14:30: Group Matches continues (new match start every 20 minutes)
16:10: Semi Finals start (new match start every 20 minutes)
18:10: Finals in Men’s Class
18:55: Finals in Ladies’ Class
19:40: Finals in Men’s Elite Class
20:20: Finish

The trophies will be given on the Main Stage at the City Hall Square at the end of the EuroPride parade Saturday 28th of June at approximately 3 P.M.

Today it is only 2 weeks until EuroPride starts, and 2,5 weeks until the EuroPride Beach Handball tournament!

TODAY is the registration deadline for the beach handball tournament during EuroPride!

Gather your friends, or register as an individual player and we will assign you a team. Send an e-mail to [email protected] with the following information:

- name (of all players if you register a team)
- shirt size (of all players)
- which class (women, men's ordinary or men's elite)
- contact information (e-mail and telephone)
- nationality

You will then receive information about how to pay the registration fee (60€ pr person).

EuroPride Beach Party

On Friday 27th of June, after the finals of the Beach Handball Tournament, you may join us as we transform the handball court into a beach party.

It all happens in the middle of Pride Park at the Town Hall Square.

The official EuroPride anthem released “No human being should be able to prohibit others' love”, says Hector Lopez, who sings the official EuroPride 2014 anthem called ´Love´. The anthem is out for sale at iTunes today.

Yesterday was Norway's national day, and the streets of Oslo were coloured in red, white and blue - the Norwegian colours.

In a little more than a month, the streets will be coloured by all the colours of the rainbow, as EuroPride will be held in Oslo in late June.

The venue for the EuroPride Beach Handball Tournament will be a court specially made for this tournament, and will be located in the middle of Pride Park, at the Town Hall Square.

This means you will be able to mingle with thousands of other gay and le***an travellers from all across Europe between your matches. You will be right next to all the other exciting events of EuroPride, and you will get to join all the fun in Pride Park for free.

Remember: Only four players are needed to make a team in beach handball.

At the EuroPride Beach Handball Tournament, you will also be allowed to borrow up to one player each match.

Registration for the EuroPride Beach Handball Tournament has now opened.

Late Registration (April 1st - May 31st) - 60€
No registration after May 31st.

The Registration Fee will include:

- Free admission to EuroPride’s Pride Park
- 4 free meals (2 cold and 2 warm)
- “Meet and greet” Thursday evening
- A handball preparty Saturday evening
- Free entry to some of the hottest parties in EuroPride on Thursday 26th, Friday 27th and Saturday 28th of June
- Tournament participation
- A possibility for private accommodation
- Professional referees
- A minimum of 4 matches pr team
- A Women’s Class, a Men’s Ordinary Class and a Men’s Elite Class
