Today was my introductory blog; tomorrow is wide open.
My goal is simple: to publish my quotes, shortstories, novella, and novels on this site. I've tried those pay to publish companies, please!An author never gets what they truly hope for or what they are promised. If you're not rich and do not have thousands of dollars to spend on marketing or have thousand of friends or family, chances are your work is just going to collect dust on someone's booklist for online selling.
I'm sorry, but that's not my goal at all. While money is always a part of my goal, I honestly want people to enjoy reading and experiencing journeys that only creative writing can provide.

What I will create is unknown; where we will go is adventure, and who we meet is yet to be determined. But the fun and interesting path is ours to travel.

I wanted to create stories more than anything I've ever done. My hope was that I could take you on adventure. To a place, you've never been all the while meeting people you've never know. Into an adventure, a look at the world my mind has seen.
Writing is easy, but getting support is nearly impossible. Family will say they support your efforts, but not really. Friends will tell you anything just to get you to leave them alone.
Publishers will not give a look nor care about your dreams or efforts. Even when you pay to have your work published, those publishing companies just take your money, give you a half-baked effort, and move on to another fool.
I have so many outlines, 4 books that I've written, 1 that I published, and 1 that I'm waiting on publication within the next month.
What to know what I know now. Nobody wants to read my s**t.
I don't write about the obvious social issues of race, gender or political strife.
I write what my heart leads me to create, and all people want to read is garbage.
Come 2023, I'm stopping my writing quest.
Nobody cares, and I'm tired of believing that I have anything to say creatively.
So, whatever I managed to do with this last book, it still will be a waste of time and effort on my part.
What happened to nice, clean, fun, family stories?
Soon, this torcher will be done, and I can disappear back into the dark abyss of nothingness.
I just thought I'd get that off my chest.

I took every breath God sent me. Shook off fear and stood tall against adversity. I renewed my heart's faith in myself and the goodness of the human species. I trusted that I am not in control of this world and realized again I only own one piece of any pie, myself. Found that I can live with the greatest intensity, even those who condemn me shed not a tear.
I am at peace with myself as I can only control the space that I live in and accept that the world is never grander than the collective love of each of us.
That's what I did for myself today.

OUR HEROES

When the world needs them, they are there. They leave behind those who are most precious to their lives so that freedom will be afforded to all worldwide.
They return home, some in coffins with their red, white, and blue draped across their brave remains. Those that come back are partially whole. Fears, confusion, and often all alone.
We owe them our hearts and honor, too, for they went proudly to support our red, white, and blue.

Good evening to all. Please take a minute to review my 2023 Let Freedom Ring calendar honoring our military veterans. I created this calendar in hopes of raising funds to donate to The Wounded Warrior Project and Paralyzed Veterans of America. Our veretrans have given so much for our freedoms, safety, and continued independence from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
As our heroes continue to struggle from the huge emotional and physical toll ,we, the people, need to support them in any and all recovery. Each of us should honor all persons with mental health struggles.
We will never know their journey.
We will never see their hope.
We will never suffer their loss.
We will never understand their pain.
All we can do is to reach out trying to fill the empty void.

On September 2, 2014 at the young age of 18 Victoria lost her life and her fight with mental illness.
Victoria was being held at the Brazaoria County jail in Texas.
Our country and government officials and citizens need so much more educattion regarding persons with mental health issues.
How terribly disappointing that our government officials ignore and have little to no concerns to further educate themselves on the needs of those citizens.
Shame on all of us who turn a blind eye to their
SILENT VOID.
When we loose one person to this unnecessary
tragedy we've lost one person too many.
Let us help fill the SILENT VOID with the sound of hope, love and beautiful cheers.
Let's fill the void.

Self Acceptance

No one should ever try to wear another person’s body. Instead, accepting the body that you do wear will always give you the freedom to be yourself.

WE NEITHER OWN IT, MOLD IT, STOP IT, OR CHANGE IT.
TIME IS ALWAYS IN MOTION, AGELESS AS IT SHOULD BE.

POSITIVE PERSUASION
If a situation presents itself to you, but gives no positive influence then why pursue it further?

I do not use the past as a weapon against others. I acknowledge my enemies, I see my mistakes and I have learned how to grow from those mistakes.
Standing in the same place, holding on to what has already passed you will never improve your outlook on life or people. Understanding that our past serves as a reminder of what we should never to repeat and how we need to improve on our future goals for the betterment of ourselves and mankind.
Keep moving forward, it's the only path that allows for the ultimate growth we all need to become better human being.
Why else would we need to learn at all if not to improve ourselves?
Be kind, be wise, be grateful for the journey.

BIGGER THAN LIFE
" Just A Thought"

So many times when I'm thinking about asking for help in understanding how to do the right thing, I wonder what exactly determines the right thing?
Does this mean a clearer understanding of how not to tell a little fib? You know that little "white" lie that often times just slips right out of our mouths. When we don't share the whole truth does that mean we aren't being completely honest?
Then again, when asking for help whether it be from the God I believe in or others in my life, am I asking for resources that I otherwise don't deserve? Would this help me to serve others more freely?
If I want to be a better person does that require me to ask either God or my family and friends to help me become and stay a friendlier, more giving, more compassionate human being? Will that remind me that forgiveness isn't supoose to be easy, it is a test of my ability to step away from self and see others plight.
A lot of my life I have been conflicted by the notion that I should always be ready to rise above the evil done to me and seek love and happiness for others. When I sit back and think about who I am and how I behave daily the answers I seek reveal themselves to me.
Becoming a better person for me simply put is consideration for others before self. Understanding that giving is the art of self sacrifice. Which means learning how to give from the resources I have and not worrying about the replacement of what I have let go of from my life.
Knowing the every smile is worth more than a million dollars and that being kind is the simpliest of task from your heart.
Loving is not easy, if it was the world could really live in peace. It takes work, patience, endurance and lots of understanding,
and all of these things each of us already possess.
This life we all live is so very short, and so very small. Life closes out far sooner than any of us realize.
Understanding and practicing doing the right thing is now and forever be bigger than self.
What we do today will shape our tomorrow, lay way for our future and become how we are known by all that come in contact with us.
Wouldn't it be awesome if all of us, each person alive that is able could become bigger than self ? Doing the right thing which is acting with love, kindness and everday good will increases those unseen blessings.
Always remembering, here today, gone tomorrow, always with love at the helm, guiding us forward to our peaceful eternity.
Be blessed always.

JUST A THOUGHT!

Such sorrow comes the land of the sand across the world from where I live. Yet, more lives have been captured and even killed all in the name of money. So often, I wonder, is there really a price tag on humanity?

Families now prepare to lay to rest there loved one and at what cost? When will all of this sorrow end? Is this a matter of who's right and who's wrong in politics and religion? Maybe it's just another case of people having a greater need to prove that power comes from hatred rather than from love and peace.

My heart and my prayers goes out to those families so far from my home for their loss. Hopefully, someone will acknowledge that there really is no price on human life. It can not be replaced, refreshed or even extinguished. Man has survived for thousands of years from all sorts of horror and yet, here we remain, mankind, for better or for worse.

Please take a second out of your busy life to say a prayer for all of those that have been taken away in a struggle that may have no resolutions anytime soon.

So much sorrow across the land of sand. My heart breaks for all that have fallen to a struggle that still continues, without a ending in sight.

Seek peace, know it and share it, love greater than anything else that you are able to do.
