Thank you to our CAT pickup location volunteers that are coordinating all the chocolate bar pickups for their pickup locations.

As well, we appreciate the many kind words we have received on our Sweet Treats packaging. We have a lot of love for the kitties and we very much appreciate the support. We are pleased that reflects in our efforts.

CAT Sweet Treats Packaging

Saturday was a very busy day for the chocolate bar fundraiser. Eight CAT volunteers came together to package up nearly 1000 chocolate bars! The packaging efforts took a few hours. CAT is so pleased by the response to the is fundraiser and we hope you enjoy your sweet treats!

Your pickup location volunteer will be contacting you to arrange a pickup time for your chocolate bar order.

On behalf of the kitties, we are thankful for your support.

National Chocolate Caramel Day - March 19th

While Milton Hershey receives a lot of credit for making chocolate caramel popular (he did make his living making caramel first), recipes for chocolate caramels existed as early as the 1880s. At about the same time, the first mass-produced chocolate bar became available.

Tom CAT packs are the most popular with the kitties because of the cardboard packaging.

Tom CAT packs consist of 30 chocolate bars and the CAT volunteers packed those orders in Aunt Sarah’s cardboard boxes. Kitten and Queen packs are packed in paper bags.

Did you know peanuts are grown in the southerly part of the Province of Ontario. With the decline in to***co consumption in the 1980's and 1990's, farmers looked for a crop that suited the sandy soil and warm weather.
