I have over 27 years of biology- and chemistry-related teaching experience at the university, community college, and high school level.

Subjects I have taught include general biology, anatomy and physiology, human biology, human ecology, environmental science, microbiology, nutrition, and general chemistry.

I enjoy teaching and helping students succeed. Having taught a variety of students of different learning levels, I know how to make science understandable. I don't believe in just memorizing facts, but in showing the student how to really grasp the big picture and connect ideas and making a subject meaningful and interesting.

Ignoring warnings about the legends of the spirits that guard the temples, and that those who desecrate the temples become cursed, the sacred treasure in the temple is stolen. But the fury of a spirit could not be ignored.

This novelette is a prelude to the story Treasure Island; a tale of the pirates who originally brought the treasure to the island.
