He’s been attacked, but no one has located him yet. We have to find him before his attacker realizes the job's not finished yet.

Dear Readers,
I want to personally thank you for your patience. This is Medium was slated for release shortly after Breaking Medium. I knew you were all “dying” to find out what happened with Mike and Zoe. I was dying to share the story with you! My readers are important to me. I hate that I let you down.

Shortly before the release of Breaking Medium, life took a heartbreaking turn. A very close family member, who lived with us, was diagnosed with an aggressive, incurable form of cancer. They passed away earlier this year at home. Writing a lighthearted paranormal mystery about death while watching someone die was too hard. I could see my own personal grief showing up on the page, and that is not Zoe’s story. I had to put this book away for several months as my family and I learned how to live our new normal. In those hard moments, I wished so badly Zoe were real. I would love her help communicating with the other side.While time does not heal all wounds, it has helped us cope.

Finishing This is Medium wound up being cathartic. I missed Zoe and Mike and Fernn Valley (did you know Fernn came from the first letters of my children’s names? Fisher, Emma, Ryder, Noah, Natalie), and I can’t wait to tell the rest of the story. Again, I am grateful for your patience.

We are still keeping it relatively small so the connections can be made. We are starting on Monday, 5/8 instead. Before this meeting, we ask that you read the first two chapters of Artist's Way so we can jump right into our discussion. You'll also want to get a journal or notebook for your morning pages (you'll discover what those are when you start the book), and for taking notes during our meetings.

As women, moms, wives, friends, daughters, neighbors...etc, it's hard to put ourselves first, and we hope that by making these accommodations, it will be easier for you to join.
