We have heard your suggestions, comments, and enthusiasm around The Shift Conference. We honestly were overwhelmed by your support.

Taking heed to your conversation we have agreed that it would be in the best interest of the conference to postpone it to a later date to accommodate the numerous young adults who have expressed interest. We understand that Summer is a busy time and especially for young adults.

Our panel of artist and speakers are excited about the opportunity to be a part of the movement & share in worship with you. Stay tuned to our page for information as it develops.

THE MOVEMENT BEGINS!

SHIFT: To move or transfer from one place or position to another.

As the season is changing there is a shift on the horizon. The time is moving forward and so are we.
What were once seeds spread beneath the ground are now becoming a garden full of promise, soon to be ripe for the harvest!

That garden represents the generation of young adults who are rising into their prime, understanding that:
Young adults are the now.
Young adults are the voice crying out in the wilderness seeking truth, justice, & righteousness.
Young adults are at the center of hope
Young adults are the liaisons between the past, the present, the future.

SHIFTERS, a heartfelt thank you to all who attended on Saturday! The spirit was definitely in our midst as we worshiped, prayed, and enjoyed fellowship with a community of believers and friends.

We are so thankful and grateful that so many of you have registered for Shift Happens and will be part of a new young adult movement.

That being said, Shift Happened. Our key-note speaker Tye Tribbett informed us that he is no longer able to attend and preach/speak at the event. But, we have replaced him with Akil Dickens, the Senior Minister of Youth and Young Adults at Ebenezer AME in Ft. Washington, Md. Akil is actually a co-minister with Tye at Ebenezer! Akil is a vibrant speaker, passionate about young people, and thrilled to be speaking about the Spiritual Shift that occurs in the lives of young adults! If you’ve never seen Akil speak or preach, I’d encourage you to Google him or watch one of his speaking engagements at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8AWM51env0. He is a gifted speaker and we are excited to add him to our line-up. In addition to Akil, we have 3 other speakers who will be presenting on Relationships, Finances, and Vocation. Not to mention a few other great guest.



We are confident that this will be an amazing day for young adults to dig deeper and feel a spiritual shift in all aspects of their lives!
