Gilford Community Band
Concerts take place every other Wednesday night at 7pm starting on July 6th. Later dates are: July New members are ALWAYS welcome!
Check out these magnificent mugs. This motley crew of musical miscreants has been spotted all throughout the Lakes Region this past week.
We got things rolling with our outstanding Christmas concert last Sunday. Our director then led the New Horizons Band (New Horizons Musical Organization of the Lakes Region) at the Tilton Veteran's Home on Tuesday. Yesterday, several of our members joined the Gilford Community Band as they kicked off the town's candlelight stroll in the afternoon, with even more of our talented family performing with the Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra, who wowed a packed house at Colonial Theatre in the evening.
If you see any of these individuals around the area this December with an instrument in hand, approach with extreme caution. They're armed with the holiday spirit and should be considered very merry. π
We are so excited for the Annual Gilford Village Candlelight Stroll this Saturday, December 9th! The Gilford Community Band will be performing at GCC from 4-5pm to kick off the stroll, and the Gilford Community Church Youth Events will feature outdoor carnival games from 5-7pm! We hope to see you there! π
Come join us on Saturday at the Gilford Community Church at 4pm as we kick off the Gilford Village Candlelight Stroll!

The band is currently looking for a large truck with hydraulic power to tow a large flatbed for the band in tomorrow's parade. Please contact Jenny Hancock at Gilford Park and Rec at 603 832-8783 if you are able to help out!

Due to some technical issues and a mis print in the paper we had a small audience for our concert yesterday, but will be back in June! Saturdays concert was our final one of the year, it was moved from the concert we usually do on the 3rd Sunday in December, so don't show up at the school next week :-)
