ππ€π₯ Listen to one of our artists, Charlie Kirkham () speak about her artwork, "Andromeda and Dragon in Cave" exhibited at the Annual Open Exhibition of the Society of Graphic Fine Art, () (πMall Galleries, - London, UK) in May 2024 π
"There's not a lot of action going on," Kirkham explains in this short video interview, "There's just this sense of patiently waiting for the action to happen around them [...] and that's the reflection of many of these stories, where the princesses, the women, the dragons, the sheep, the other animals in the village, they're all just waiting for things to happen around them rather than actually controlling the narrative[s] of their own [lives]." π¬βοΈπͺ
Inspired by the myth of Princess Andromeda chained to a rock (before being rescued by Perseus), the artist's ink on rag paper drawing, as she describes, showcases "the themes of waiting to be rescued [...]." Such themes are explored further in the artist's "the George and The Dragon series." Kirkman was also influenced by the death of Queen Elizabeth in September 2022, as the face of the princess, she continues to write, "slowly morphed into a version of a young Queen Elizabeth." ππ¬π§

We love love the intense blue colour of this artwork by Birmingham artist Natalie Mills ππΌοΈ The piece, "WAVE GOODBYE" is an abstract piece which consists of fluid acrylics such as Teal and White on a solid black background. Through the combination of these artistic materials, as Natalie writes, "the top layers of colour [are able] to 'pop' beautifully." Spring has sprung πΏπΈ
Make sure to check out this artwork, "Flurry" by artist Tara Harris () π¨

Well love this impressionist artwork by Birmingham artist Tara Harris. The oil pastel piece represents a perfect depiction of (the emerging) Spring Time. A Snowy Paradise βοΈβοΈ
Check out this artwork, 'Go Gently Into the Night' by Artist Elisa Trueman () π¨
Now available: Β£125.00 π
A peaceful depiction of a snowy setting, this small 16x20 inch work on canvas depicts the artist's several years living in Cornwall. The artist describes her signature style as "contemporary and naive," she writes. We love the delicate, minimalist look of Trueman's painting. Through her precise and thin use of line, the detailing of the work's sky and stars look almost similar to paper cuts. Her landscapes remind us of scenes drawn by the likes of mid-19th century artists from the Hudson River School π Elise often works in Acrylic or Oil mediums ποΈ
Elise has exhibited and sold her artwork in galleries and auction rooms across the UK and on an international level π She's a member of the Association of British Naive Artists (). She also took part in an exhibition at The Crypt Gallery in St. Ives in June 2023 πΌοΈ She's also been featured by The Artist Magazine ππ¬π§
'Not Another Social Media Art Post' π± π¨
We love this artwork, 'Social Tedia' by artist Marc Renshaw () πΌοΈ
Now available: Β£60.00 π
We're always fans of Renshaw's satirical art world-related illustrations! Using clever word play via the artwork's title, the work is all about the "tedious" idea of social media when it comes to being an artist and being in the art world π€³ The fusion of technique and Marc's artistry is evident through his use of line, shape, colour and 'geometrically-striking' brushstrokes ποΈποΈ
Marc Renshaw is an artist and illustrator based in North East Lincolnshire, UK. His use of many different creative media is integral to the artist's creative practice. Through his artwork, Marc researches the relationship between drawing and its, as he writes, "broad application as an autobiographical memory tool for communication and its ability to resonate on an intuitive level" π§ He's exhibited his artwork internationally in places such as the UK, USA and South Korea. The artist has also been nominated recently as an artist to watch on Axisweb 'Finance' () π« π
Cephalopot or Octopus? π¦
View this ceramic artwork, 'Cephalopot' by Artist Miriam Rowan π¨
Now available: Β£25.00 π
Miriam Rowan is a folk artist from York. Her Surrealist style represents a perfect creative blend of traditional ceramic art combined with the artist's imagination expression. Through Rowan's use of the broken teacup, the artist transforms the object through a unique approach to Japanese kintsugi technique and tradition. The artist sculpts intricate cephalopod-type creatures between the surfaces and cracks of the cup to, as Miriam writes, "add a more dynamic and captivating element to the design." πποΈ
Leaving For the Weekend ππΌοΈ
View this artwork, 'LEAVING TOWN' by Artist Natalie Mills () π¨
Available Now: Β£640.00 π
"LEAVING TOWN' is inspired by the artists (pending) adventure to Southern India (part of an artist residency). The painting belongs to Natalie's collection called 'Freedom' - exploring, as she writes, "the juxtaposition of fear and freedom ... and embracing change, honesty and new beginnings." It is an acrylic, abstract work of art. We love the tangible-like texture seen in this piece ππ
Natalie is an abstract artist from Birmingham. Moving to London in 1995, the artist holds a BA Hans in Fine Art from the Byam Shaw School of Art. 10 years ago, she began painting after her own hiatus: "Life got in the way!" she says π Her artwork is inspired by the artist's personal journey - using her practice as a form of therapy π§ββοΈ
Elemental Beauty π«
Check out this artwork by 'Mountain' (of the 'I Ching' Series) by Artist Sam Weeks () π¨
Available now: Β£350.00 π
'Mountain' β°οΈ is one of eight acrylic paintings on wood panel inspired by the ancient Taoist practice of I Ching. I Ching is a principle comprised of eight trigrams (natural elements). Through each artwork, the artist captures each element, "within its own realm," Weeks writes, "as a way to appreciate it in its singular, raw, elemental beauty." π
Sam Weeks is an Abstract artist from Birmingham. She began her artist career in August 2022, after leaving her long career in education (having taught both adults and children). Sam now paints daily in her studio ("a wooden shed at the end of the my garden - it's my sanctuary," she describes). Make sure you view this artwork, 'Pr-lws-07' by Artist Tomas Rowell () ποΈ
Available now: Β£24.00 π
We're amazed by Tomas' geometric, hypnotic artwork ππ΅ Through his use of relative white space, the artist directs the viewer's eye - leaving a sense of "hypnotic unfamiliarity," he writes. Throughout his career, Rowell has explored the complexity of art through academia ποΈ
Tomas graduated from Leeds Art University (Fine Art), () π He has exhibited artwork in London, the United Kingdom and in Paris. His artwork has also been shown at the Royal Art Prize at La Galleria Pall Mall in London () πΌοΈ

Now available: Β£1100.00 π
Marcus uses a range of mediums from traditional canvases, digital imagery and wood sculpture in his artistic and creative process. 'Ave Maria IV' is a Renaissance-inspired painting intended to express the holy gaze of the traditional figure of the Virgin Mary. In this particular scene, the artist captures her face as she "looks upwards in a state of grace, full of sentiment and humble contemplation," he explains in his own words π
Through the artist's work, Marcus explores a variety of disciplines: portraiture, abstraction, surrealism and "the subconscious" - making his own way through the "inner and outer worlds [of his] artistic expression," he writes. Eazyl
At Eazyl we want to break down the boundaries for both artists and buyers.
By charging no commission (unlike traditional galleries who often charge 50% per item) we believe everybody can benefit.
Without us taking a cut off the top, we hope that we can encourage more personal relationships between artists and the people who support them.
We also want to make it easier for people to begin to buy art. We understand there are a lot of questions you may have, especially if you're a first-time buyer. "Which style should I choose?" may seem a simple question, but it is often hard to know where to start.
