Spring is here, it's warming up - time for a lightweight quilt on the bed. This Modern Lone Star Quilt is the bestselling pattern in my Etsy shop Blue Jacaranda. It's also known as Starimekko, because it's made from Marimekko's Uniko fabric in different colourways.
The backing fabric is a large scale design - isn't it gorgeous? β΄β€π
How awesome is this! π
A resident of Hamnavoe, in Burra, Shetland Anne Eunson decided to knit herself a beautiful lace fence using twine.
The fence is fashioned from strong black twine - the same kind that is used to make fishing nets and Anne knitted it up on specially adapted curtain poles. It took her about three weeks to knit enough lace to surround her front garden, using a 23 stitch repeat of a familiar Shetland lace pattern.
