The Heart of Willoughby development promises to be the iconic focal point of a strong, connected and harmoniously integrated community; where the young and the elderly, new and old residents come together as one. Sitting in the geographical heart of Willoughby is Club Willoughby, soon to be transformed to “the place to be” destination for the entire Willoughby community.
Great News!
Club Willoughby and HYECORP Property Group are pleased to announce receipt of its long-awaited Site Compatibility Certificate! With the Certificate, Club Willoughby has secured approval from the NSW Department of Planning and Environment to advance a development application that seeks approval for building of a brand new state of the art club as well as seniors’ housing.
Where to from here?
The Club will now prepare a Development Application (DA) for submission to Willoughby City Council (WCC).
Following our initial round of successful community consultant events in 2017 which formed part of the Site Compatibility Certificate application, the next round of Community Consultations and Briefings will be held prior to the DA being lodged. We anticipate lodging the DA in early 2019.
We will have a copy of the application available for viewing at Club Willoughby during the time that the application is with Council.

Another successful day at Club Willoughby on Wednesday as part of Heart of Willoughby's Community Consultation Program.
We kicked off bright and early with the Stakeholders Breakfast Briefing and concluded with a great night getting to know our new neighbours at the Neighbour Meet and Greet.
It’s great to see that everyone who attended is as excited as we are for this upcoming project!

Very encouraging to see the Club members so enthusiastic for this amazing project in the Heart of Willoughby
