Hi to everyone out there in STAGEFRIGHT land....
STAGEFRIGHT are very pleased and proud to announce that we have been asked to play the Awesome ROCK & BLUES festival, end of July. This is how the story goes.. Deep breath....
As you know, STAGEFRIGHT entered the Sitwell Battle of the Band competition and made it through to the grand final, which was held at the Sitwell Tavern Derby. We would like to thank all our supporters and followers for their help in getting us to the grand final. The outcome was that we came second in the competition, losing out to worthy winners NASTY HIGH, whose fantastic stage presence, looks, as awesome musicianship, did indeed make them favourites on the night, and quite rightly so. Well done guys. Part of the first prize was to play at the coveted ROCK & BLUES festival at the end of July, when I am sure the crowd will be blown away with their performance.... However a couple of days later, we was contacted by the promoters of ROCK & BLUES festival, asking us to play. It appears that although NASTY HIGH were the outright winners, STAGEFRIGHT were such a close second we have also been chosen to play, so a big thankyou to Rock & Blues for asking us AND a big thankyou also to MR BAD AXE himself Chris Heath, who was celebrity judge at the Sitwell Tavern, and who is also going to be the stage manager for STAGEFRIGHT at the ROCK & BLUES festival. So congratulations to NASTY HIGH for winning the Sitwell Battle of the Bands and we will see you at ROCK & BLUES. KEEP ROCKIN........ SEE YA THERE...
