Don't pray for a lighter load, pray for a stronger back

One night I had a dream...

I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord, and
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand;
One belonged to me, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of my life flashed before us,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that many times along the path of my life,
There was only one set of footprints.

I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in my life
This really bothered me, and I questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
You would walk with me all the way;
But I have noticed that during the
most troublesome times in my life,
There is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why in times when I
needed you the most, you should leave me.

The Lord replied, "My precious, precious
child. I love you, and I would never,
never leave you during your times of
trial and suffering.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you.

Y-Life #5 was amazing! Thank you all for your prayers.

Tomorrow we begin the Y-Life #5 retreat. Keep the candidates and us in your prayers. Let's continue spreading the word on what Living the 4th is.

When in doubt, just pray.

It was nice seeing a lot of you on Sunday. You guys make me proud because I see that you are still living the 4th. Keep it up and remember, just because you might have fallen off the path of the 4th doesnt mean you cant hop back on. We are all here for each other and we will help you find your path. One Love.

Always have faith no matter what.

Remember everybody, the 4th Day can last however long you want it to, it's up to you if you want the Y-Life experience to end and just be some memory. Obstacles in life are going to cause problems but in those moments when things might seem out of control and troubling for you, remember what you experienced at Y-Life. Life isn't always going to be all rainbows and sunshine, it's a hard thing but you don't have to go through it alone. If you ever find yourself forgetting to live the 4th, I encourage you to look back at your songbooks and read what you wrote and listen to your cds. I hope each and everyone of you are living the 4th right now and if you have unfortunately stopped living it, I challenge you to try it again. If you ever need to talk to anybody, we are all here for you. We are a family, never forget. One love everybody.

Always keep pushing forward and never give up. Life is precious, life is good. Never stop living the 4th!
