"Preach what you practice. Get it in your body, get it in your mind, get it in your words." β¨
Wise words from Tracey for both new and experienced teachers today.
Can you tell when a teacher practices what they preach?π
Crossing your elbows in 'eagle arms' can help lengthen and fortify your upper back, rotator cuff, and shoulder muscles, including lats, rhomboids, subscapularis, supraspinatus, teres minor, and the trapezius. (Whoa!) πͺ π¦
Additionally, the wrapping of the hands and palms opens and strengthens all the joints in the arms and shoulders.
Even if you can only do variations on this pose, you'll still see amazing benefits! π«

πͺYoga for Strength with Melissa!
Building and maintaining your strength is one of the BEST acts of self care you can do. Not only does it improve longevity and keep you active and able to do what you love, but it also has significant stress reducing and mental health benefits! β€οΈ
β¨ Melissa will be filming more of her 'Yoga for Strength' series in the fall. We can't wait to share it with you!
Seriously. Airplanes. βοΈ π€―
Could you be more disruptive while we're trying to film or what?!
π₯ Filming outdoors involves many moving, adaptable pieces.πͺ
Sometimes the weather and lighting isn't right, sometimes the wind or background noise interferes with our mics, sometimes random people and animals walk through our sets and we have to re-start.
π Not to mention scalding days where all the sunscreen and water just won't cut it.
But we love what we do, and wow do we love the outdoors! π
Stay tuned for more nature-inspired content coming soon!!!

π§πΌβπ Salym has much to share about their Yoga Teacher Training experience this month. Who knew it was possible to make anatomy so relatable and understandable!?
Further, Salym says, "July brought knowledge about the bandhas and the various ways to explore meditation. Through this portion of course content, I realized it's been awhile since I've experienced the process of learning something new, and I often wait to share or be seen in new adventures until I feel I've learned enough to be confident in it. This month I used everything I've learned so far, in various stages of growth, to connect with my local yoga community and share a collective, visible, experience of practicing yoga. Yoga can be a private journey, but there's a lot to be gained by sharing the experience with others." π
Thank you Salym!
Many of our teachers are also teacher trainers. πͺ π
