Nihad brought her family's magdoos recipe with her when she left her home in Daraa, Syria, and she is happy to share it with you and your family in Tucson, Arizona.

Use a small piece of flatbread (pita) to pinch off a piece of magdoos. Excellent when paired with soft yogurt cheese (labneh).
Ingredients: eggplant, red chili pepper (not spicy), walnuts, olive oil, salt.
