Hello my beauties! I have sat down and worked out what my summer hours will be.
There’s also a good chance that this will be my set hours moving forward.

No more rotating schedule, just keeping it consistent, and adding a third night to my schedule.

I’ve been trying it out the last month and a half, and it’s actually better for you guys and myself.

Mondays 12pm - 7pm
Wednesdays 12pm - 7pm
Thursdays 12pm - 7pm

His is a great read if you’ve ever wondered. We get asked a lot, and I’m thankful my co-workers were able to word it so well.

We have had quite a few clients ask us over the years "What do I need to do before I come into my color appointment?"

-- Do I wash?
-- Does hair color work better on dirty hair?
-- If I wash, can I come in wet?
-- etc etc.

There’s always that old wives tail of dirtier the hair the better before a color! Which is absolutely far from the truth. If there is a build up of product like hairspray, gel or crunchy mousse and/or oils then the color can’t pe*****te your hair shaft deep enough to give a great, lasting color.

A good rule of thumb is: come in with day-old hair and dry. But of course, there are always exceptions.

Scrubbing your hair before your appointment could potentially leave abrasions on your scalp, which in turn could be irritated by the chemicals of hair color. Now realize, that there is a BIG difference in 'dirty' and 'oily'. If you have a signicant amount of oil on your scalp, it will need to be cleansed before applying color for the best results. But if you only have a couple of days of dry shampoo in your hair, don't worry about it!

Now ,if you are coming in knowing you are getting a lot of blonding done I would definitely prepare your hair at least a month ahead of time with deep conditioning treatments done weekly. We can only lift your hair as light as your hair will allow us to in 1 appointment. The healthier your hair is prior to your appointment, the better your color/highlights will turn out. This is why we stress at home hair care so much.

Coming in DRY and BRUSHED is always best, so we can access the starting color and cut. This is imperative if you are a NEW client. If you're a reoccurring guest that gets pretty much the same thing every time, it would be ok to come in damp.

This has been a hard year for many families big and small. So I wanted to do something to help those families in need. With Thanksgiving only two weeks away; many are wondering if they’ll be able to afford dinner for their family this year.

I am sharing a link to an organization that helps families have Thanksgiving. Any donation is helpful. I believe the lowest amount available to donate is $20, I know it’ll prompt you to do $40, but you can do smaller amounts.

$40 will feed a family of 4. That includes the turkey and sides.

If $20 is all you can give, that’s okay too! This isn’t just in one state either, it’s across the country and caters to multiple different traditions people have for Thanksgiving.
