What to do while at home? First wash your hands well. Then mix eggs, sugar, butter, orange juice, almonds, carrots, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder. 180o for 40 minutes. And Voila. Delicioso.

When my (Manny); mom died I kept this vase that no one was interested in. It was broken in the back, yet I found it beautiful...I guess my mom too because she saved it for a long time. My plan was to salvage it and incorporate it into a mosaic mirror. Here it is. Missiion accomplished!

Phase Four. It will be beautiful, so so our a disaster. Honestly, we just dont know. Also we hope the vase will hold well. It has a hole inside so an electric wire can be installed should we decide for some lighting to compliment a flower or branches arrangment... not sure if we go that far.

Puzzle done. This is the artistic step of the mosaic. Tomorrow we will do the hardest strep, the technical one that must be successful. If not the project is ruined. The larger the mosaic the harder to create the artwork since there is a time limite.. This is is a quite large mirror so lets cross our fingers. Scraping is the final step. Takes time (many hours) and it is my favorite.

We took these pictures 15 years ago. The Roman Temple of Diana, over 2000 years old, is the ex-libris monument of Évora, Portugal and is one of the most important historic ruins in the country.
