Today would have been my mother Ruth Bell Graham’s birthday. She once said, “We mothers must take care of the possible and trust God for the impossible”—and for several years, I was the impossible! But because of her prayers and reliance on God, I know that I am who I am today in part because of her. Happy Birthday in Heaven, Momma!

This is my shadow from sometime ago and I saw it this morning in my album. Today it reminded me of the shadow I cast in life, and how important it is to make sure it is cast in Jesus shadow and not my own. A future legacy for others.
