Hello AMWA Berkeley!

We are super excited to announce that our Mental Health Committee has created 4 new Vitamin Vlogs in honor of May being Mental Health Awareness Month. These videos include topics relating to Anxiety & Depression, PTSD, Loneliness, & Stress Eating.

These can be found on the AMWA Berkeley youtube: https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fchannel%2FUCLJh5fbwg9ly-w8kBArp2mw%2F%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2dRnE_l09ZZL6oMVHKE2VRnHIvUJ-CQNSGn6F-ztnHHpiJWFSi9bBcOgY&h=AT1ldRKFfLQh_VFUvyWgdgeG9lxyW1wFYbayOdSQUnehPv_mHtsd91YOaQkODK33JwEpT1__vdVW6bdWccU6-m-LnzLO157XdQfnGLfrNh4DyoQPCzmvzfyR8yrK-nzs03YSGnJ9sbVePtuYVazVZQIbFxg

We hope you will take the time to watch these videos our wonderful mental health committee members have made, especially given the current public health crisis we are all living through. Having observed “silent waves” of mental health cases after pandemics such as SARS in the past, it is important that we educate ourselves on various mental health issues affecting our community and that we continue to spread awareness. In doing so, we hope to work toward eliminating stigmas surrounding mental health and contributing to an overall climate of prioritizing our mental health and taking the time to take care of ourselves.

Let us know your favorite video and something new you learned after watching!
