Dear all of our valued customers & followers,
I am writing to regrettably inform you that after almost 8 years in business-Parrishla is closing its doors. As you can understand, this is a very hard note to write as I have poured my blood, sweat, and tears into this business dedicated to my family and all of you. But after much thought and a difficult year, this is the best decision for many reasons at this time. Parrishla has been made successful and is still successful from all YOU! All the love, support is not lost on me and I will take all of this into my next journey. Look out for me! The fashion industry is my home and you will surely see me again! The story of the RED thread. When I was incepting PARRISH- I kept thinking about a brand signifying mark that would set US apart, let the consumer FEEL SEEN in the best way possible, and also have that IT factor. I woke in the middle of the night one night ( my mother had recently passed away so sleeping was usually not happening) and thought- EACH PIECE will have a little red thread to show the woven connection of FAMILY and UNITY - whenever I need a hug or anyone needs love, they can touch the red thread and feel warmth. Like PARRISH is giving them a HUG!!!!!! I’ve had the privilege of hearing so many red thread stories and how they have brought people together! Please share some of your red thread stories with me!

PARRISH
Threaded through my life is the STORY of my FAMILY of origin in a small Northeastern town that I remember, mostly during the cold WINTER months, in our car, with the windows open just a crack to feel the cold air on my face, JAZZ coming from the radio and my dad behind the wheel.
My design ethos EMBODIES how I perceive comfort, the TEXTURE of my life’s memories, both wild and sweet. The sensuality of my musings, missteps and my WILLINGNESS to rise after each fall.
It is in my DNA to share my love of clothing and fashion.... I got it from my mother, Dale. My mother wasn’t always easy. We didn’t always see eye to eye, but, she was always my first, my TOUCHSTONE, my comfort. Her LOVE was fierce. As was her impeccable style and her PASSION. She had a multitude of mysteries and I still learn from her, every day…how to be more TRUE to myself.
