Really excited to share another character I have just finished developing for it - a cute Kermode bear cub. A lot of work, but the end result is pretty cool, if you ask me.

I took this in Myakka State Park many years ago. If you live in Florida, now is a great time to plant native tickseed from seeds. It's not only beautiful, but beneficial for native wildlife. Pollinators love it and birds will eat the seeds.

About me
Background
Along the least-traveled paths that I have journeyed upon, I have collected a wide spectrum of well-rounded skills and assembled a multi-faceted background of achievements and destination stamps in both my portfolio and passport. As a multicultural, multitalented artist and writer, I have authored and illustrated a children’s book, which I am kick-starting this year. I have a B.S. in Zoology (pre-med track, chosen for the quality of courses, not the destination), and I have been an artist all my life.
My background is colorfully diverse and includes programming, coordination, communications, marketing, spectroscopy, and education with an emphasis on science and the environment. I have worked for top notch companies, universities, museums, nature centers, and an aquarium and zoo. I relish trying new things and working in a multitude of disciplines. And while diverse, I feel these experiences are cohesive, as I see connections everywhere, and I always enjoy connecting the dots. Having the mindset that “I can do anything that I set my mind to” has allowed me to ride the waves of unpredictable currents, surf across boundaries that others would hesitate to cross, and challenge myself to new opportunities that have arisen from the breakers. I have adapted in every niche and have come away from each with more knowledge—and specialties.
