Salida Middle School Parents Organization

Salida Middle School incoming Parent Club Members will be selling waters at today’s Graduation to start fundraising some funds for next year! We are excited to be coming back to SMS and hope the water will help cool off the 8th grade parents at their Graduation! Congratulations to all 8th graders and parents for a job well done! Wednesday, May 25th- 8th-grade dance. The dance is at 5:00pm that evening. We will need a couple of volunteers to help set up at 3, and some to help with serving food once the event starts.
We would love to make this a special night for our students, and we need your help!

Friends and family, we have a new fundraising opportunity! You can help support our school, by simply scan your receipts from any purchase made at the Vintage Faire Mall, in Modesto. Thank you families for your support with the Panda Express fundraiser! We will post the total warmed as it becomes available. It was so nice to see so many families, and thank you again for your patience waiting for your orders. My wait was 40 minutes long! Thank you so much Velazquez, Rizotto, Cornejo Family, Kiah Edgerton Applegate family, Marisela Fernandez and Jamie Cash Veneman families for your wonderful donations! The teachers loved it!

Thank you families for supporting the Parents Organization. With your support from the Boomers fundraiser we were able to raise $255! We were able to fund Mr Smithcamp’s request for Newsweek magazines for his classes!

Hello Salida Families,

We are pleased to announce that the USDA has extended FREE breakfast and lunch to all students. For students enrolled in the After School Program, they will receive a FREE supper and snack as well. Also, if your student is bringing a lunch from home, they can grab a milk, a fruit, and a veggie for FREE!

We are super excited to see students in our serving lines tomorrow!

Salida Middle School - 1st day of school is tomorrow, Tuesday, August 10th at 8:30 am. It is a blue day which is periods 1, 3 and 5.

Parents, if you have not already submitted shot records for your student's TDAP, please do so by Monday. This will avoid any type of disruption with student attendance attending
