Meet Kevin Moul, the man who inspired the KrakenEXO SUPER II and has been an integral part of our consult & demo crew for years.

Kevin Moul has been working in the fire equipment market since he started at his family fire equipment business in 1987 refilling fire extinguishers and recoupling fire hose. He also joined the fire service in 1987 as a junior firefighter, quickly moving up the ranks becoming the captain of his department at age 19. He moved on to be a chief and has since retired to the back seat of the engine.

Kevin still loves to respond as a volunteer and has successfully merged and consolidated his and several departments into one and is currently the treasurer of United Hook & Ladder Co #33. He is also the chairman of the board for Adams Regional EMS in Gettysburg, PA.

Kevin is the vice president of sales for Witmer Public Safety Group, Kevin Moul at The Fire Store . There he oversees there 30+ plus sales associate staff and also specializes in the sales of all their waterflow vendors, Mercedes fire Hose being his absolute favorite (obviously  ).

He specializes in working with fire departments to establish proper fire flows with matching the right hose with the right nozzle for their specific requirements.

Meet Heather, our Richmond Branch Manager, here at TheFireStore! We're thrilled to share her story as part of our Women's History Month Celebration.

Heather's interest to join the fire service sparked after her house caught fire when she was just 15 years old. When she was an undergraduate at Randolph - Macon College, her motivation to join the service got even stronger as she frequently visited her local fire company with a friend. After so many visits, she said the Assistant Chief finally asked, "Heather, why don't you just put in an application?", and that's when her journey began.

Within a year at her department, she was voted to be a member of the Board of Directors and served as the Secretary. The following year, she was elected Vice President then voted to be President of the Fire Company! During this time, she pursued a BA in Sociology and attended the Fire Academy all while getting certified as an EMT. When asked what was her greatest motivation was, she said it's, "the preservation of life and property, the communities I serve, the family aspect of Public Safety, and to be quite honest, the adrenaline is a tiny factor". Throughout her 23 year career as a Firefighter/EMT/ Acting Officer, she has obtained numerous certifications and awards including the Chief’s Awards, Life-Saving Awards, Improvement Awards, and much more!

To other women in public safety, she says, "the key to success, is perseverance. be stubborn, show them who is boss. Do not let intimidation get the best of you. And when they tell you, you can’t, show them you can, adapt and overcome."

Thank you for your service, Heather!
