Ancient Sumerian legends speak of a celestial being so powerful, that their mere name on the wind could cause a city to crumble. Fanatic believers created a pathway to the stars through a series of arcane and blasphemous rituals, sacrificing hundreds to to appease the beings hunger, but they were not prepared for the wrath that they incurred when they summoned this being... The devastation was unf
athomable, millions were slaughtered and exploded, innards splattered as the carnage raged. As he scanned his kingdom, engulfed in flames and littered with the dead, the Great Celestial One was suddenly shaken from his throne by a deep rumbling from within the continents. In the heart of the planet, his rage and destruction had awoken gargantuan Titans, deeply in slumber for millennia. Rising from the crust, shaking off mountains of rock and oceans of lava, four mighty behemoths of colossal size and power known only as RUINANT faced The Celestial One. The battle rampaged for what would seem an eternity, and it was not clear who would win until in one fatal misjudgement. The Celestial One had them in a trap of immense pain, and as he gloated, the Titans broke free and tore his head from his shoulders. The resulting implosion sent the galaxy into deep darkness, for more than a billion years, until a huge wave of gamma radiation sparked life on earth, and RUINANT took their place on the earth under the disguise of four young men. Through their mathematically precise and disfiguringly brutal music, they ward off The Great Celestial One's violent vengeance for as long as they remain on this planet.
